Alice sa lugar ng kamanghaan (2010) Tanong

What fabric was used for the Hatters hat?

Does anyone know what fabric they used to make the hat?
I want to make one sa pamamagitan ng myself, but my first try wasn't that great. So my susunod try have to be better and madami original.

I'm asking cause I've seen some mga litrato of some kind of museum and perhaps there was a description?
What fabric was used for the Hatters hat?

I wouldn't know the specifics of the actual material used, but I have a better quality picture that might help you out.
All I can say about it is that I'm guessing it's the same type of material used in a normal tuktok hat. Almost a jean like thickness, but different texture.
Here's a great homemade video on making the Hatter's hat here: link (And now that the movie's out you can make it even madami accurate)
And here's some madami information on tuktok hat material: link

For my hat I just used a regular tuktok hat as the base and wrapped brown and green puntas around it to give it the colour. Then I sewed in all of the stitiching sa pamamagitan ng hand and made it look madami authentic.
Best of luck!!
