Do you personally find AB to be a very unique anime, in that it has elements of romance, that works, and still manages to combine that with action?

Yep, I think AB! is very unique.
It has Action as well as romance and both work on with great combination. It also has Drama and Comedy which also are important factors for an Anime to be included.
