Manga = "Japanese comics", if you want for a simple explanation.
Anime = "Japanese cartoons (TV)"

Well, I think manga wouldn'd be on a DVD. That would most likely be anime. Did it say "Manga" and have a black plus sign on it? If so, that's the logo for a dubbing company.

i think i get what your asking. are you saying can manga be in video's? well in that case if you have a NEW manga with no anime to it yet (Rin-ne for example) then some people upload pages of the manga on youtube. but manga is USUALLY in comic form. one of my mga kaibigan told me that the japanese word for comic is manga. :)
Ummm... Manga is a Japanese comic .. If u've seen DVD's like manga , then it is possibly there for you to watch the manga ... Because manga is for reading, Some people may be comfortable sa pamamagitan ng watching it and pagbaba it , or some just sa pamamagitan ng pagbaba it online or buying it ....DVD = If u've seen it in colour .. Then it's anime .. if not if u've seen it greyscale and with words in a video .. then it is because it is easier without turning pages or so ..... I know the reason ur confused .. But if u don't get it , Don't hesitate to ask me .. =D
