A sad anime you have watched?

Hakuouki isn't meant to be sad but it made me cry anyways when everyone was slowly killed off

~I don't really know if its really actually a sad anime but on episode 10, the part were Mirai can still see Yuuki even though he already died... I don't know if she was in denial or mentally unaware of her little brother's death but it was so sad when Yuuki told Mirai that he was dead and also the part before yuuki fades away with the final words "I pag-ibig you sis" T^T

YUUKI!! why did you have to die!?!?

I've seen a lot of sad anime,Fullmetal Alchemist/FMA Brotherhood is one! and one sad moment from it was when Tucker Shou turned his own daughter and pet into a chimera just to keep his job as an alchemist..and did the same with his wife earlier to keep his job and to make matters worse for her Scar ended up erm "killing" her..apparently to put her out of her mercy..

|The saddest part for me was definitely the end where Misuzu finally achieved her goal, even though it caused her so much pain, she was finally free.

|For Madoka Magica, like AIR TV, I cried a lot in it. Mami's death was kind of sad because she finally achieved the friendships that she has been searching for. When Kyouko mercy killed Sayaka (now a witch) with her own body so that she didn't have to die alone broke my puso but I would say the saddest moment was Homura's quest to change to future. So many times she failed at saving her best friend but in the end, Madoka's end was inevitable. I also found Madoka's sacrifice so that no other magical girls would become witches, ultimately erasing her human existence and making her a goddess-like being, was truly heartbreaking as well.
