Hmm...well I'd invite all the characters from Azumanga Daioh for a start, with the exception of Mr Kimura; the reason being that I'm not sure if any of the other characters would come if they knew he was invited. I'd also pag-ibig to an invite an anime lady in a kimono to a Bon festival. Perhaps Sakura from Sakura Wars or Kaorin from Rurouni Kenshin.
