Well, I did some research, and, just based on the tagahanga clubs that you have joined so far, it doesn't seem to fit with your tastes. However, I personally would recommend the series because it's my paborito anime and I find that it's quite good, too. It's not perfect but the plot is executed smoothly, most of the characters are interesting, and I really enjoyed the way that it makes you think and the meaning that was conveyed.
I personally recommend it. It has a great plot and memorable characters. Some of the protagonist's tactics may take a lot of brainpower to comprehend, but it makes sense in the end!
