Guinevere carries the laundry basket into her house and takes it back to the bedroom. Arthur was out cold for the afternoon, so when she finished work she went to his flat to get some madami of his clothes and personals and stopped for takeaway on her way home.
She hears the telebisyon on in her room as she approaches. “Hey,” she says setting the basket down. “Have you been awake long?”
“About ten minutes. I have to pee.”
“Come on, then,” she says, pulling the bag of dinner...

Aredian strides to the witness stand from the back of the courtroom, a thin, severe, imposing figure, all in black. Something about his demeanor makes everyone uncomfortable in his presence, like they’re afraid that he’s going to shoot lightning bolts from his fingertips and smite them just for breathing the same air.
“Good Lord, Arthur, where’d your father meet him?” Gwen whispers.
“I honestly have no idea. Some tanong are better left unanswered,” he whispers back. He’s been enjoying whispering...

“Percival, why didn’t you correct the prince when he made that misstep? He very nearly gave young Maxwell a black eye!” Leon snaps at his fellow knight as the two men walk to the kastilyo from the morning’s training.
“Well, he’s the prince! I can’t… yell at him,” Percival sagot weakly.
“He must be trained the same as all the other boys,” Leon sighs. “I know it’s difficult, but…”
“I just don’t feel right. I know he’s only five, but he outranks me.”
    “Well,...

Prompt: Prompt: 12 days of pasko my true pag-ibig gave to me

It’s late, it’s cold, and all I want to do is stoke up my little apoy and crawl into my kama with three or four blankets.

I give the door an extra shove to make sure it’s securely closed against the draft. I light a candle and am just about to turn to the wood box when I see it.

What on earth? It’s soft, but heavy, wrapped in parchment and tied with a red ribbon.

My puso pounds as I pull the ribbon, setting it aside. Waste not, want not. Inside is a large, thick wool blanket, red. I unfurl it and run my hand across...

    Crunch.
The sound of glass breaking beneath his head jolts Merlin from his fitful slumber. Oh no! he thinks, scrambling into his bag.
The last item Merlin put in his bag before they left, almost on a whim, was the phial of water from the Lake of Avalon, entrusted to him sa pamamagitan ng the Fisher King. The phial that has just broken under the weight of his head.
“No, no no…” Merlin mutters frantically, dumping the contents of his pack out onto the ground.
    He watches, amazed,...

Dredging up OLD and I do mean OLD shit, for the express purpose of fomenting war is just not cricket, particularly as you are not privy to the mindset, and why we may well have been at war at the time. One sometimes gets bitchy, we are all human. Now we know the boy, compares co-stars with purses, wishes that he could just take over Camelot and Merls can go off into the sunset so he can run this shit. Bradley has foot in mouth disease and was an ass. He has done a shitload of growing up and as for those attempting to imply general hatred towards Angel, you could not be madami wrong.

Our resident,...

No honestly is there a reason his 'hair' looks like this again? What not enough money to splurg on a few good hair pieces guys?

Second, how many of you are beginning to thoroughly dislike him? For the longest time I put up with him as the amusing defacto father of Merls and that was all fine well and good and I could cope with his lack of imagination re the tavern issue all araw long (Merlin being in the tavern) but this, this constant, thing of never quite telling all the relevant details and what is more, being selective in his memory is beginning to wear thin.

In fact, sometimes I find him far madami evil than the warpedness of an Odin or an Uther because they are just blindingly ignorant but he knows better.

Thoughts welcomed. Very very miffed with Gaius this season.
I have been struggling with the non-reveal issue ever since the season ended. When a tanong was posted about forgiveness and trust, I just purged my inner feelings into this response. This was a deeply personal and honest moment for me, and I would pag-ibig to hear from anyone who is having the same struggle or maybe has some words of wisdom in regards to dealing with all of the conflicted emotions:

Trust and forgiveness in regards to a relationship is a complicated thing. In regards to Arwen, I was ecstatic to find out that the betrayal was the result of an enchantment. I always felt that the...

Arthur is standing at the front of the trono room. He is waiting, and he is not alone. The trono room is filled to capacity with courtiers, knights, servants,
and commoners. There are flowers, ribbons and bunting in abundance, and the room has never looked madami festive. He waits, barely noticing his surroundings. His attention is fixed on the large set of doors at the back of the room.
To the casual observer, the young king appears calm. Merlin, Arthur’s trusted servant and closest friend, knows otherwise. He sees Arthur’s tapping foot, his...

“Wake up, darlin’, we’re here,” Arthur says quietly, stroking Gwen’s cheek.
“Mmm,” she scrunches against him and blinks her eyes open. “Did I fall asleep again?”
“Yes,” he chuckles, halik her forehead. “We’re here,” he repeats. She looks out and sees a house, not overlarge, nicely kept. A home. “Come on.”
He climbs out of the car and opens her door again. They walk to the front door and it opens before Arthur can lift his finger to the doorbell.
    “Arthur!”...

Gwen sips her wine and talks with the princesses from Camelot’s neighboring kingdoms when someone taps on her shoulder. She turns around and finds a group of women, somewhere around her age, smiling at her. They curtsey and wait for her.

Gwen looks astonished at them and one of the princesses she was talking to leans pasulong and whispers, “Nod, you’re supposed to nod.” Gwen thanks her and nods. The princess resumes her place and sneers with the other princesses.

“Is there anything I can do for you?” Gwen...

Alined slinks up to the witness stand and is sworn in.
“So,” Leon begins, “Mr. Alined, you have been in Memphis for nine years, is that correct?”
    “Yes.”
“And before that, you were known as Herman Delaine of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is that correct?”
    “Yes.”
“Your honor, I ilipat for a recess,” Aggy stands and declares loudly.
    “Reason?”
    “I’m not prepared for this…...

Merlin’s series finale went out with 7 million viewers that would mean Series 5 couldn’t hold a ratings candle to the back half of the very Gwen-centric Series 4 and that the Series 4 finale held over a million madami viewers and 4x09 was the most watched episode ever. I believe 5.2-5 million was it’s average, if it broke 6 that was amazing. 7 million + were mostly for premiers and finales. 8+ for multiple episodes is what happened in Series 4.

I’m too lazy to get a source, but I do believe that 4x09 and most of the last 4 episodes of Series 4 actually had madami viewers than the pilot....

I have a convention on Thursday. Gwen looks down at the text she’s just gotten from Arthur, and remembers his “plus-one” threat.
    Oh, no.
Don’t worry, you’re safe. Not a plus-one kind of thing.
    Good.

“What’s up?” Merlin leans over and peers over her shoulder.
“Arthur has a convention to go to Thursday.”
“Sounds scintillating,” Merlin says, making a face.
    It’s in Dublin. I’ll...

This one started life as Song 8 in "Songs to Dance." Had always planned on expanding it. This first chapter will be familiar. As a reminder, this is AU from 3x10, "Queen of Hearts," where Arthur, Gwen and Merlin actually do leave Camelot.

“Gwen!” an urgent voice whispers in the dark dank of the dungeons. “Gwen, wake up!”

As promised, Gwen wakes up. Arthur confesses what he's been up to. Just post 5x03.

“Guinevere,” Arthur breathes when Guinevere’s eyes open. He had insisted that she be moved back to their chambers once the danger was over. He’s been keeping vigil in a rather uncomfortable chair beside their kama all night and well into the morning.
“What happened?” she asks, coughing, sitting up some. The coughing combined with the slight hoarseness of her voice gives him a pang in his stomach.
    Arthur looks unbelievably contrite....

Being Friday night, parking is troublesome. Lance finds a place for his Citroën a ways up the block, and Arthur piggybacks on the spot, squeezing his motorcycle in sideways in front of Lance’s car, the front tire on the sidewalk.
“Arthur, you’re going to get a citation,” Gwen cautions, but Arthur seems unconcerned.
“Nice motorbike,” Lance comments as Gwen once again stuffs Arthur’s dyaket away.
