I wonder if the people who come to Camelot are those who held Morgana captive then? That would certainly be interesting!

"She had magic, and Uther killed her for it."

I wonder if the line refers to Morgana's mother Vivienne? That would be a good twist. Uther realized he had an affair with a witch and he killed before it got out the man who started the Great Purge was sleeping with the enemy. When he killed her Morgana was around. He couldn't acknowledge her because it would bring a scandal on the house of Pendragon and put his throne in jeopardy. So he let her be "Lady" Morgana instead of "Princess".

Well people…. For those who thought that the real Gwen was breaking through in episode 508- No she is not. Cold hearted, cold stoned , Gwen the marionette is large and in charge. Sigh. Sandi from spoiler tv had the following to say about episode 508:

This sounded like a Merlin centric episode from the PR, but he's not in it much as we expected at all. If anything, Gaius takes on Merlin's role (in more ways than one) at court throughout it.

Regarding the mirror thing which people hope means real Gwen is peeking through:

Sandi, whilst seeing the preview for next week, it seemed to me that Gwen's enchantment was fading away in this episode? I
think she looked doubtful when she is looking in the mirror and Arthur
can be seen behind her, and also I am sure there was a bit where she was
crying... anyone else notice?Sandi can you tell me if I may be right or if I am imagining things? thanks as always :D

Nope, if anything she's more evil and conniving throughout this than in the last one. She's thinking like crazy of an excuse to make up to explain away something Morgana has done whilst looking in the mirror.

“At night you could hear its cries; they were even more heart breaking than Morgana” Sarrum to Arthur or Gwen about Aithusa. This confirms that he's the one who held Morgana prisoner which probably means that Gwen and Morgana are probably setting him up to kill him along with Arthur.

You'll be glad when death comes. Morgana to Merlin probably.

We have to do something about her. Merlin to Gaius most likely about Gwen.

I think the teaser trailer is probably Morgana or Arthur about Gwen.

Yes it seems that we do find out that Sarrum held Morgana captive for two years in this episode. In the SFX link I posted it also mentions something interesting about Gwen and a flashback.... so we may find out what Morgana did to her....

Woo, off to go and see that link. I don't think we've ever had a flashback on this show before, have we?

Yes we got a little one at the start of 5x02 when we saw Morgana and Aithusa being held captive...

Ah, yes. I just remembered that.

I am going to have a hard time watching this episode. Because I care so much about Aithusa. She will break my heart again. How can anyone be cruel to a baby dragon? It makes me so sad.

So I read some other spoilers on tumblr saying that Sarrum is indeed the man who held Morgana captive, and that she will use Gwen to try to kill him and Arthur. Maybe he is the one who says to Arthur that they share the same hatred for Morgana. Then he will tell the story, I believe that story will make Gwen cry and she will be really upset. She is all about Morgana in her current state, and even if she wasn't that will be a cruel story. Maybe Arthur will question her why she got so upset or something. Maybe that is the Gwen/mirror scene.
I am just speculating.

It has to be Arthur who says he'll lose everything if he lose Gwen. If it is Morgana I will be so disappointed. It is something Arthur would say. It also refers to the legend, as Arthur lost everything when he lost Guinevere.
