Personally, I feel the story's specifics wouldn't translate very well to the American culture and I fear that the americanisation of the drama would mar the innocent nature of the story as we know it.

However, I can appreciate that some may be excited by the proposal of another Meteor Garden remake and, if it stays true to the other versions and is well produced, it could be yet another enthralling addition to the franchise.
