Why are non-Disney pelikula held to such high standards?

I was thinking of this while watching the other araw the Nostalgia Critic's review of the sisne Princess, and how critical and overly nitpicky he was in general towards this movie...

And that made me think how almost all non-Disney pelikula are treated in this way (of course, there are a few notable exceptions as the Studio Ghibli films and the Dreamworks ones), that audiences feel the need that if they are animated pelikula which aren't Disney, they must be held in an impossibly high standard and they must please every demand of the audience.

Why is that? Why is it that any animated non-Disney movie...

How does it feel to be voted tagahanga of the month?

It feels great! I really wan't expecting it all that much. The last time I won tagahanga of the buwan for a club was on the Disney club easier this taon and before that was a few years nakaraan on the Disney Princess club. I guess I'm madami active than I thought.

Why do you think the fans chose you?

I saw this on the DP spot, written sa pamamagitan ng AudreyFreak and I thought it would be an interesting idea to do the same with some of the heroines. But instead of doing them all in one article, I decided to separate them and write one artikulo fro each heroine. I do this for 2 reasons. Firstly, because it needs a lot of time and with the homework and stuff I will never be able to finish it. The segundo reason is that this club is not at all active and we try to bring it back to life, so I think that it will make people visit it madami often (if you like it and you're interested in pagbaba the susunod ones...)....

So I've been lately into classic mythology and literature all of a sudden and I thought it'd be a good idea to see popular characters from animated pelikula matched up to characters from greek mythology.

Obviously i won't be using any characters from Hercules, since that would be easy, and it's madami fun to see comparisons with different things. Welcome to my third movie review but this one will be different from my last two. My first review was of Quest For Camelot, which hardly anyone nagkomento on after I worked HARD on it. Anyway in that review I talked about the movie's problems but that it shouldn't get the criticisms it gets, especially when other pelikula do similar things but people don't mind. pangkalahatang it was a great movie with an amazing, well-developed, and totally kicka** protagonist, lovely animation, incredible songs, and some funny comedy. I will admit it could have been better but for what it is it's still really great....

Alice - Alice In Wonderland - 1951

Alice is listening to her sister read aloud from a history book, which she vocally expresses her boredom. While wandering off, Alice lays down a riverbank wishing that she had a world of her own. Just then she sees a white rabbit. He frantically exclaims how late he is, which make curious and causes her to follow him. As Alice crawls inside the rabbit hole and she accidentally fell in to a world she never imagined.
