Why did Bella become a vampire? (Please read for madami info...)

With the kamakailan Eclipse promotion (not to mention the leaked script, which was absolutely horrid) I've begun to tanong if the people at Summit have comprehended the books, or let alone, read the same ones us fans have.

ECLIPSE is about Bella finally choosing. She chooses Edward. With Edward comes becoming a vampire. In a kamakailan press conference interview with Kristen ([link) , the last tanong mentioned that [in the movie] Bella not only becomes a vampire to be with Edward but also for personal reasons.

For now, or forever, forget Breaking Dawn ever happened. My fear for the Eclipse movie is them not seeing that she did, in fact, do it for Edward. No point in forever without him. In your opinion, from what you read in Eclipse, why did she become a vampire?

Well, I've read the same books as you did... And I always thought that she wanted to become a vampire because she wanted to be with Edward. It would have been easier for her that way. She didn't need to become one but she wanted to. I don't think there was any other reason.

2. Because of her love/obsession with Edward she wanted to be with him forever.
In the New Moon movie Bella tells Edward that if he turns her into a vampire she could protect him from Victoria. I guess that they want to make her sound less selfish because I don't remember pagbaba anything like that in the book, I think.

On a separate note Kristen is so awkward I would be a little freaked out if I met her.

I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly. Did you say you didn't remember pagbaba about Bella wanting to protect Edward sa pamamagitan ng becoming a vampire? I remember that in the books, but what they are trying to imply in this movie, about Bella being a vampire for personal reasons such as: never fitting in with humans, it's ludicrous. But I do agree with the opinions you put. The first one, I always forget that one. I always thought it was a petty little thought, but now I think it kind of played a big part in her urgency.

I thought I remember Bella actually saying in the books that she never really felt she fit in with other humans - that she felt the most at tahanan with the Cullens. I'm curious now...

I'm glad you realize that too :) I think it's page 257 or something. But that's the answer I was looking for. It just irritates me that they are translating that wrong. For Eclipse.

i kno its really frustrating. also i refuse to watch breaking dawn cauz there changing the actors for jacob, alice and emmet. that is totally wrong and it is rediculous, u cant just go changing the actors in the last movie. especially alice and jacob cauz there main and every1 knows and remembers them, i pag-ibig emmett to so that is really pissing me off
