Do you think the release of Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun is necessary? Since it's only the repetition of Twilight but only in Edward's POV...

It's not really necessary. I mean, if SM didn't announce she was Pagsulat the story in his perspective, I wouldn't have thought about it or wanted it. But it is interesting to read from his point of view. Not everyone, especially those who've only seen the movies, gets his character. If you base Edward's character on the movie and the book Twilight, you see him as obsessive and overprotective. Although that's true, Midnight Sun, you see why he does the things he does and how he struggles. SM explains in Midnight Sun what Edward deals with. How much control it took him to resist Bella, how he ended up in her bedroom, how he dealt with not being able to read her mind, and so on. i think it would be beneficial to alot of people who want to know madami about his character. That's one of the main reasons why SM chose to write Twilight from his POV. We know Bella's character pretty well since she's been the one narrating. Midnight Sun was so that people can understand Edward a little more.

I think she should have written it from his point of view in the first place. Bella is a difficult heroine (I use the term loosely) to follow to begin with and I think the parts later on that are from Jacob's point of view are really helpful in understanding his own screwed up actions. Maybe some of the controversy around Bella being such a crappy role model and Edward being so creepy could have been avoided if she'd written it that way to begin with. I think at this point it just feels like madami of cash grab than for the pag-ibig of the characters and the damage has already been done when it comes to the ridiculousness of everyone in the story's actions.

segundo verse same as the first...great. *sarcastic tone inserted there* I'm sorry, but now we go from hearing the story told from a weak little girl onto the POV of a masacistic, dominaring, stalking, asno who sparkles...Yeah, that just...not cool or necessary. If she wants to make a good book, try publishing books from the Volturi's point of veiw. They were all terrific characters that I'd pag-ibig to learn madami about. Why let good characters like these guys go to waste?

Im not much for burning books but...well I think something along those lines needs to happen fast before girls get too involved.

I read what she'd written of Midnight Sun back in the araw and I thought it was great pagbaba from Edwards point-of-view (but then again I thought he was lik SUCH a babe!1!). Perplexed is right she probably should have written the whole series like that in the first place. Her Pagsulat doesn't really explain much of Edwards actions properly (hence we think he's the only psycho stalker in history who sparkles to attract victims) and it makes a lot madami sense when he's the main character. We'd also probably be a lot madami fond of Bella as well. But the books already been written, the pelikula already been made. We don't need the same book.

i think its necesary. i would pag-ibig to read it all from edward's POV. but i hope somewhere in the book it goes on after breaking dawn.

No, not really its just the story of twilight but from a different characters perspective. To be honest i think its bieng written due to the amount of money she'll make out of Pagsulat it. If it was Carlisles point of view then probably, because i like pagbaba parts about his past. But edward? Not really my favourite character. Is she going to do one for the rest of the books all edwards perspective and then do one thats all jacobs perspective? She could make a whole load of money out of that unfortunately :S
