^ I think this one it's really related on how Elena makes him feel human and 'weak', you know, Damon's biggest fear has always been feel and care. He's really scared of it and of what it could give to him..but with Elena is starting to be easy and slowly he's feeling again. :)

Well that Nina interwiev wasn´t that bad, she sinabi several times that the writers do want DE be the ones who fans want to have but can´t. If they didn´t want fans to pag-ibig DE why would they care to make the fans want them even more. They know that DE are the reason why the ipakita is so popular and when they get together it won´t be the same, not because they won´t be a great couple, but we pag-ibig to root for them to be together and they still have several seasons to go.
