To be honest I really didn't hear about Stefan before I watched the show. And since the first time I thought it's DE story and I still think so. And btw. in the books practicly Damon sees Elena first (like a bird)...and in the movie he's the one that she actually sees first (just she didn't know it). I can't decide which character I hated madami in that episode. Damon or Elena (Stefan was annoying as usual). Elena was naive, stupid, selfish and very hypocritical. Damon went off and did something sill and reckless without thinking. He managed to get himself in a bigger mess than he already was but I guess he did have a right to go sleep with Rebekah after the asong babae Elena was.
