How come in the tv ipakita Damon has not been trying to get Elena to like him anymore I mean he should give up that easy on her does anyone no if he even still loves her or is he just gona ive up cus in the last...

He still loves her, but after he tried to kill her brother he must gain.. not only her friendship, but also her trust and respect too. until then he must keep his distance because after all Elena is still in pag-ibig with Stefan

Damon loves her, but he also loves his brother. I think he knows he has hurt them both enough. He just wants those 2 people he cares about the most to be happy. Very noble of him. Although personally I don't think he should've gone for such a sacrifice. I think he's becoming the person who deserves to finally be happy considering his so far rotten luck with women. On the other hand this just might be the step into the right direction towards Elena's puso if she ever remembered about this conversation. Which unfortunately is unlikely. Anyway as I sinabi - very noble and awwww... :)
