Ryu first appeared in the Ninja Gaiden beat 'em up arcade game in 1988. In that same year, Ninja Gaiden was released on the NES (Famicom, in Japan) and the Sega Master System, though these versions, being madami centered around platformer-style gameplay, bore little resemblance to the original arcade game. Two NES sequels, Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos and Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom, followed in 1990 and 1991 to complete the trilogy. Having heard about the new DOA 5 Ultimate I want to give my new opinion on what I think this should be (even if it isn't going to be). To me the ideal DOA 5 Ultimate should be this:

Firstly continue the story of DOA 5 because anyone who completed the original knows...it ended on a bit of a cliff hanger...obviously promising a sequel.

Ryu Hayabusa: 25
Gen Fu: 67
Bayman: 33
Jann Lee: 22
Lei Fang: 21
Zack: 27
Tina Armstrong: 24
Bass Armstrong: 48
Helena Douglas: 23
Leon: 44
Hitomi: 20
Brad...

Hayate as well was fond of Ayane; he might have learned of the true circumstances behind Ayane's birth and did not see the point of isolating her as everyone else did.

While Kasumi and Hayate joined the rest of the village in a festival,...

Kasumi is portrayed throughout the DOA series as a madami compassionate character than her younger half-sister, Ayane, and any of the other fighters. She is an honorable and kind spirit and although a highly skilled kunoichi with deadly abilities. She does not enjoy or wish to fight. Many of the statements she makes in the game series before a round begins reflect her desire to avoid confrontation. Much of the reasoning behind this comes from the fact that in all of the tournaments (with the exception of the first) her motive is not to fight or win, but to meet Hayate. Her statements also reflect...
