POTM: What are your paborito things about Pocahontas?

Her curiousity.

She is independent,brave,curious and fun. She is such a strong person but you can still feel that her personality is changing during the movie. She was pretty playeful,free and daring at the begining and she really matured and became madami wise and calm at the end. And I really appreciate her gorgeous looks, pag-ibig her unique yet beautiful design, also her pag-awit voice is my paborito DP pag-awit voice :)

Sorry, I am so late answering this. I appreciate Poca because she doesn't shy away from encountering people and ideas that are foreign to her. I appreciate her healthy curiosity ( which is a trait she shares with my paborito DP). I wish madami people loved Poca, and appreciated her desire for a different life--- and not just appreciated her half-hearted attempt to not disrupt the entire pace of her family life--- which is what I see her doing at the end of her film. At the end of the Disney film, Poca sacrifices her pag-ibig for her people. It's a tough sacrifice to make, and I think that's what makes her sequel with Rolfe feel authentic. Sacrificing for your family all of the time can definitely leave you with permanent, lingering doubts. So I can relate to Poca for having doubts about remaining with her family, or ,instead following her heart.
