On the Tenth araw of Princess Walt Disney gave to me
Ten Spices Boiling
Nine Ships are sailing
eight mice a-sewing
seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend
four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.
When I asks the fans here what buwan they think represents which princess the best, I think Sinderella was the most versatile of all. A lot of you saw her in winter (I suspect that is partly related to the huge chunk of winter-related merch featuring her) some in spring, and naturally there was the association between the kalabasa and Halloween. I went with the latter one.
To be honest, Cinderella's movie doesn't really look that much like autumn, so I seriously considered switching her with Merida, but in the end, the kalabasa made the decision for me, when I picked Halloween (and whatever other people are celebrating at this date). My icon ended up a little bit too elegant for Halloween though. I hope you enjoy it nevertheless.
As usual, I created an ginto take on Cinderella. I guess the obvious pick to symbol her would have been her shoe, but her shoe is made out of glas, not gold, so I picked a clock and a nightingale instead.
I deliberately placed the nightingale in a way that if you decide to use the name for something, you can easily remove it. Or ilipat it to a different place.
As Goddess, I guess Sinderella is kind of replacing Zeus/Jupiter as leader of the Pantheon, but takes madami the role of Cronos/Saturn as Godess of Time, though I think she would also pass as Goddess of Justice.
And finally I created a banner...since I picked the "Queenly Grace" line which disnerdtobe suggested to me, I really wanted a moment in which Sinderella showed her grace in peasant clothes.
I hope you enjoyed those. Two left to go, and I think at this point you can guess which princess got which month.

1. Riyo Mori (Miss Universe 2007)
Yes, I got to know her as Miss Universe 2007 and sadly she is very underrated in the looks department. However, she's one of my favourite Miss Universe winner and I think her looks make me think of a possible Disney Princess for Japan.
2. Miyako Miyazaki (4th Runner Up, Miss Universe 2003)
The 4th runner up for Miss Universe 2003, she's another Japanese beauty who I think is a runner up for a Japanese Princess.
3. Takako Matsu (Japanese voice for Elsa)
Yes! She did the voice for the Japanese dub for Frozen. I have seen mga litrato of her, she could be another possible choice!
Ready for a Japanese Princess?
So, are you ready for a Japanese princess? Here are my 3 choices. If I missed out anyone, feel free to comment!
