Words can't describe how much I hate this sequel. WHY! WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN? CURSE YOU BRADLEY RAYMOND FOR MAKING THIS! This in my opinion is one of the worst sequels in the history of mankind. It just took the whole message of the first movie and just flushed it down the toilet.

I seriously feel like smacking the people who made it. The songs are weird, the animation is ugly, They ruined John and Pocahontas and turned the into dull people, and forget that John smith and Poca were in love and decided to forget about that and instead randomly make Poca fall in love with a new guy.

What the heck is that about? I am not going to keep explaining, I am planning to make an article about this. But this will always be my least favorite sequel for as long as I live.

I also hate Mulan 2, they just ruined everything. Shang became crazy, Mulan is always relying on Shang, and Mushu just became lame and retarded. This is another sequel I just can't stand along with Aladdin 2. But besides these three sequels I actually like the rest.

I used to love it as a child, yes as a child. Now that I have re-watched the film they turned Ariel into a complete retard and a worse version of her father.

I understand why people dislike Pocahontas 2 but (*dodges incoming bullets*) at the same time I think the hate for it is way exaggerated. I don't think it's that bad, honestly. Not good either, but certainly not as bad as people make it out to be. I dislike John Rolfe/Pocahontas as a couple, but that doesn't mean the whole movie is completely awful. Oh and I actually like John Rolfe as an individual character; personally I prefer him to John Smith but I prefer Smith with Poca as a couple.

I think the songs in Pocahontas 2 are actually good, especially for sequel standards anyway. "Where Do I Go From Here" is good enough to be in the original IMO; it's an absolutely beautiful song. People say the animation in Pocahontas 2 is bad, but I don't see why that's a reason to dislike it specifically, since 95% of the sequels to the classics have bad animation. What I'm saying is you can't single Pocahontas 2 out for bad animation, when it's one in a list of many.

Cinderella 2 is a much more pointless and stupid movie IMO.

i like Pocahontas 2 and Mulan 2.
The little mermaid 2 is bad but Melody makes the movie tolerable.
Aladdin 2 is very bad.
Beauty and the beast 2(is it the enchanted Christmas? or belle's magical world?)-either way, they're both horrible.

^ yeah, i know Pocahontas/Rolfe is more accurate, i just prefer how Pocahontas/Smith is portrayed in the Disney movies.

I like Pocahontas 2. But this is a disgrace to the first movie.

This and Cinderella 2 are one of the worst movies ever made.

@Snickerz911411 -I love 'em too as a couple, but I guess being happy when friendzoning is gone (for John Rolfe... it looks a little like it to me.) seems to be a disgrace D: Not many other people like those 2.

I don't like any of these sequels, other than TLM 2, which is ok in my opinion, and I haven't seen BatB 2. Cinderella 2 is by far the worst though, there really isn't any point to it.

I like Melody but I hate the rest of this movie.
Pocahontas 2 is also terrible.

mongoose09, how is it exaggerated? I actually think it is under exaggerated. They just completely removed the natural theme of the movie. The calm spirited music, the light beautiful animation, everything! it's ruined! What ever happened to Pocahontas being the free spirited daughter of the chief? Apperently she became all fancy because of some dude that she just randomly fell in love with. I hate how she in the first movie was all madly in love with smith and then you turn to the next movie and she jumps into I don't care about smith anymore. He is just some random guy that I said goodbye to a long time ago so therefore I he is out of my book. WHAT THE HECK!! THIS MOVIE SUCKS! Anyway, I really hate this movie, you may not hate it as much, but we are not exaggerating. I personally like Cinderella 2 even though the movie quality itself is very bad. So, I always can understand why people hate it. I never thought they were exaggerating obviously because everything they hate about the movie is something horrible you should hate on. You may not agree with what we are saying but that doesn't mean we are exaggerating. This is just me, I just had to hate the sequel. I don't know, this is just my opinion. I don't think this is an exaggeration.

I freaking love Pocahontas 2. It's objectively one of the best made Disney sequels. Decent animation, decent music (where Do I Go From Here is gorgeous actually), Pocahontas's character is more canon-accurate than anyone could hope for, and the story makes sense in a canon sense. I'm not happy about the romance switch, but it's realistic that Poca would move on since she though Smith was dead. People just hate it without seeing i's good points.
I'm fond of mos Disney sequels personally. They're not amazing, they're not pretending to be, but they are a guilt pleasure. Mulan 2 is one of he worse ones to me personally. It had decent animation and music, but canonically it destroyed the characters and slaughtered he original.

If you pay attention to Pocahontas 2 with a watchful eye, you'll see there's a progression from Poca mourning, to her liking Rolfe, to them falling in love, to her having doubt when Smith returns. It's not perfect, but it's decently done. Pocahontas 2 had a lot of good things other sequels lacked, but that's eclipsed by everyone's Rolfe hatred.

Also Mulan II and Pocahotas II but this is just ridiculous. I don't really like sequels, I often imagine that them don't really exist ( I mean I don't believe sequels would really happened to characters, I think them are just one, and really unlikely, version what would have happened after the first movie)

Cinderella 2 is very inconsistent, random, and bad quality but even though it is it brings back a lot of old memories so I really like it.

I really like the little mermaid 2 even though it may once again be very bad movie quality, it just is a very fun movie that makes me really excited. Plus, once again it brings back great memories for me.

Aladdin 2 is a horrible movie. no robin Williams, jafar returns which is really lame, and the characters act really stupid. Plus, the animation is garbage. What did they do to jasmine's beautiful eyes? They Slaughtered it I tell you. I don't like it when people say just because the animation is garbage doesn't make it a bad movie. they are basically saying even if the whole visual of the movie is trash it's still great. I don't agree

Beauty and the beast 2 rocks! I love the songs, the story, and the animation may not be the best, but it isn't as dreadful as the aladdin sequel's animation. I love this movie! The animation may not be horrible but that is basically the only thing they could improve for it other then the storyline being cliche.

Mulan 2 had a very weak storyline. Mulan and Shang are going to get married and they have to escort three princesses to a city. the storyline is random, weak, rushed and horrible. The scenes are just little snips of mulan and Shang fighting. Shang's "death" was stupid, no Eddie Murphy, they all look different, Shang is ugly, Lesson number one is a stupid song, and they slaughtered the poor characters. I hate this movie.

And yes I think the hate this movie gets in general is completely exaggerated and over the top. Either way, it's definitely not "under-exaggerated", seriously. If the hate for Pocahontas 2 is under-exaggerated, then I'd hate to see what over-exaggerated is. I'd say more than half of Disney fans hate it (those that have seen it anyway) and in my experience it's often widely considered the worst Disney sequel, bar none. Btw, I understand why people dislike it, I'm not even a fan of the movie myself, I just think people go too far with the hate for this movie. It wouldn't surprise me if people printed pictures out of the sequel, stuck the pictures on the wall and used them as their own personal darts board!

I agree with Jessikaroo, completely. Oh and if it wasn't for this movie, we wouldn't have Uttamatomakkin who is one of the most awesome Disney characters in existence. hahah
