This is where the major plot hole of the film comes from. Genie does ruin the mood a lot, and it seemed a bit rushed (which it was I think). Cinderella would be next

Not just the worst ending, but the worst frame device in general. With most of the other movies the ending connects with the beginning, therefore giving the story additional closure...with the classics it's the book, with the later ones usually motives and music from the start are revisited. But Aladdin has no connection to the Peddler at the start whatsoever (seriously, shouldn't he turn up again to end his story?) - Plus, the genie ruins the mood.

I just didn't care for it. and I know this defeats the movie's point but I would have liked to at least see her with that suitor she kind of liked (the big blonde one). it's weird having a DP without a guy at the end.
