It's too plain and boring. Nothing special.

It's not as special, in my opinion.

Boring.

It's just a really sad, scary scene, and that isn't what I want in a Disney Princess encounter.

This...just felt like filler to me. To make matters worse, it showed me Tiana's nasty side. I grew to dislike her more and more after this first scene with Naveen. Naveen is a jerk, no doubt about it, but he is more relate-able for not having it all together, and displaying "bounce" when things in his life take a turn for the worse. Naveen keeps his positive demeanor intact. It gradually became obvious that Tiana was one of those self-absorbed types who---- if everything is going their way, they are kind and sweet---- but should things not go their way--- they turn really sour and nasty to the people around them.

This scene wasn't very funny for me. And the rest of movie took a nose-dive for me after this scene.

I guess? I just don't care too much for this one.

Not a very good start for Belle. I mean, she gave up her life and meets a hideous beast that terrifies her. It's not romantic at all, just sad.

At least the beauty and the beast scene is memorable.

I never like it and I never like Cinderella and Prince Charming too.

Though in this moment Belle is very selfless, their first meeting is so not romantic and The Beast is scaring Belle.

It was actually really cute.. till she ruined the moment and started wailing on his face. It's abuse when a guy does it but it's hilarious and "bad@ss" when a girl does it to a guy. Not romantic or charming whatsoever.

^ I was just thinking about that today. Like hhm, what would people think if it was the other way around? There is clearly a double standard when it comes to men and women but I won't address that. This moment was shallow, abusive and all around sad. It's not romantic in any way. I was shocked this one lasted longer than John Smith's and Pocahontas first encounter.
