Just not a fan of nightgowns. This one is even worse than Ariel's pink one. The collar and bow are weird.

What about Ariel's blue dress at the end of the movie? When her dad turns her human and she comes out of the water. I love that dress.

@anukriti2409 I've always thought of that dress as more silver than blue (it's really only blue in Disney's marketing, not the actual film), so it will be included in the neutral colors countdown. :)

^Nope. I still hate that Cindy's ballgown color is blue in the marketing, when it is truly silver in the actual 1950 movie. So MaidofOrleans and Anukriti, you are not alone in picking up on that.

Why Ariel's blue sparkly dress isn't here? And why everyone hates that Cinderella's ballgown was colored blue in Princess franchise? I don't get it.

It's the only outfit of hers that I don't like. Also tiffany88 is right. It only looks purple in that one shot because of that shadowing and lighting. It's the same reason why Cinderella's silver gown looks blue in certain shots. Also, wouldn't Merida's dress at the very end of the movie count as a dark blue? It's actually different from her usual dress and people just don't notice.

@tiffany88 that still looks pretty purple to me (maybe because our computer screens are different). Actually, if I were to be super accurate, I'd call it periwinkle, which is somewhere in between purple and blue. Because of that, and because there are so many fewer purple outfits than blue outfits, I'm still sticking with my decision to include it in the purple outfit countdown. I appreciate your desire for accuracy though. :)
