Dolce and Gabbana " Basic" Brand Any Opinion? Quality? etc..

I come across Dolce and Gabbana " Basic" now and again- mostly online. I'm told is only sold in Italy. Anyone know more, what the quality of the line, is its below D&G, the same as the mainline?

It's an obselete diffusion line. Basic was below D&G (the middle-tier diffusion) in terms of price and quality.
As for whether Basic was ever sold outside of Italy, I cannot say.
