Should Family Guy ditch its content and find its identity again?

compared to American dad I def feel family guy has moved to a madami absurd/ pader breaking animated sitcom, where I feel like they should try n go to their original roots story wise where status’s who isn’t god and they confront some of the plot holes and relationships
