Uploading Problems

Ok, guys, have you ever had this problem cuz I dunno how to fix it: Like, when you type your stories on Microsoft Word or whatever and you use italics, like maybe a whole sentence in italics, it's all fine on the document, right? But when I upload it, all the italic and bold letters just mash together and makes everything really hard to understand.
Have any of you ever had that problem? If so, do you know how to fix it?
