I noticed something. Yes, I know that sounds unbelievable, it scares me too.
It seems a lot of people are wondering where the seemingly walang tiyak na layunin hatred of Smurfs on Fanpop came from.
I know, sounds strange to me too. So I decided to investigate this mystery that has led to confusion and gnashing of teeth on Fanpop.
I did a little search, and the results were as suspected: I started it.
Yes, innocent little dazl. Didn't expect that one, did you?
See, Smurfs scare me. Always have. And no, I will not tell you why. That's a private matter between me and my shrink on Tuesdays, and my therapy group on Thursdays and Saturday afternoons.
So, I naturally thought of defending myself. Self defense. And choking came to mind. Therefore, link arose.
Then, I began to think, since Fanpoppers apparantly find the idea of killing little blue thing disgusting. And then it hit me. A viable pinagmulan of nutrition AND a method of elimination! Which led to link.
It then seemed to snowball. Everyone soon knew of my aversion to the cerulean sprites and began to tease me *suppresses memory*.
Then, something wonderous happened. Other Smurf haters declared themselves Gargamelian. And sa pamamagitan ng that I mean AntiSmurf.
Soon, the hatred of Smurfs had dripped over into picks. People began to imagine me fighting Smurfs, running from Smurfs...*panic attack*
So that is the shameful secret of the Anti-Smurfers.
To the AntiSmurfers: Yes, I know I owe you guys wages for keeping them away from me. I'll pay you when Chel runs out of picks.
To those who like Smurfs: Sorry?
UPDATE: I just saw someone asking about the Smurf thing in one of Chel's picks. Now that is timing!

This little piece is inspired sa pamamagitan ng link who wrote so wormly about the Fanpop community: link.
Yes, Fanpop is a community. A taon ago, it wasn't and I wasn't even sure it would ever evolve into one. Then, on my first araw back, I got two props, two new fans and several comments. Now Fanpop is really a community, and it's so good to be back!
The community, fellowship, utnity, whaterver you choose to call it, is absolutely addictive (being into pantasiya books, I go for fellowship ;) ). And I mean this in the best of ways. Fanpop is not only an interesting place to learn madami about your hobbies and interests, it is a nice place to hang out and 'listen' to the conversations going on. And, miraculously in this araw and age, it is a ligtas place to share what's important to me.
I'm glad to be back!
