Reporting Duplicate Spots...

Stupid tanong time!

Does anyone know what happens when a spot is reported as a duplicate? I know that the spot can be removed or merged with the original club, but does anyone know the process before that? Do the Fanpop Four review the spot in tanong and decide whether or not to merge, alisin or leave it?
I ask because there are a few spots that are exact duplicates of other spots and I reported them ages ago, yet they are still up and running. Does anyone know why that might be? These spots are definitely duplicates, so I can't understand why they wouldn't be at least merged with the other spots...

i get what you mean aboot repeats- i have reported tons of duplicates and only some get removed. i think the f4 decide that if say the spot sa pamamagitan ng the time its reported has 30 members and is really active that they feel bad moving it (they are much nicer people than us ! :P)...
or you can be of the opinion that something *isnt* a duplicate..how else would we have aboot 676766665455577 twilight spots? the future wives of edward? the bella wanna-bes? i guess its just a matter of opinion

also i get the distinct feeling that they dont care as much aboot duplicates it doesnt hurt anyone, the kids have fun...so they are super low key aboot removing/moving them

Oh ok. It just seems dumb though. One of the duplicate spots I'm talking about has 2 fans and no content, which one of the other duplicate spots has bout 20 fans who are also fans of the original spot and are posting exactly the same content. And I reported both of those spots within a araw of them being created. I guess they don't really hurt anybody, but is annoying when they take stuff from the original spot and post it in the duplicate spot. Such a waste of time and space!
