Umm...I'm kind of confused really. I don't think I'm an atheist (there has to be something out there that caused all this fabulous stuff to exist), but I find the thought of any kind of God kind of hard to imagine. I guess it's because gods of all religions seem to be in a sort of human form and are either male or female (usually male, particularly when it comes to monotheistic religion), and I find it hard to believe that such a powerful being could represent that image. I guess if I was to believe in Him I would think of Him as madami of a force than a person as such, something that is present in the hearts, bodies and spirits of every living thing, rather than someone who made everything. I also rather like the idea of reincarnation (which is weird, as all my family don't seem to like that idea), but rather than being reborn in a 'higher' position in the animal kingdom based on your past deeds I see it as being madami random, with your spirit going into the body of the latest embryo/seed that was about to start developing, regardless of whether you were good or evil, and your spirit alters a little to suit the body of the animal each time. I don't know whether that is any religion... old pagan, maybe? That's just what I believe anyways.

You say something had to had caused for this all to exist, but that's not entirely true. We just don't know in science what happened before the big bang. The honest thing to do is admit that you don't know. btw the point when you start believe in something is when you have evidence. You can like the idea of reincarnation, but does this make it true? something to think about :) You're probably an agnostic atheist.

Yep, that probably isn't true, and you're right, the honest thing is that nobody really knows. The bit about evidence...true, there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever, and madami than likely it isn't true. But then, is there any faith that has solid evidence to support its claim? I find it hard to get my head around there being a divine being out there, but at the same time I find it hard to get my head around there being nothing at all, for life to have just appeared without being made. It is a pretty tricky question, I don't think anyone will really know the answer until people discover what came before the big bang. I don't necassarily believe that what I think is completely true at all, it's just the thing that makes most sense to me. I think that is the case with a lot of religions to be honest, it's just a matter of what feels most believable.

No there isn't. I think faith is just something people give as an excuse when they have no evidence. If they had it, they wouldn't have to stick to faith. Well sure, but the point is we have no idea what happened. it could've just spontaneously combusted sa pamamagitan ng itself for all we know. Some scientists think it's happening all the time, that the universes keep coming to existance. I have no idea, but honestly it doesn't make any difference in my life where it came from. So I just don't bother with tanong I have no possible way of answering. Yes, I agree. People stick to whatever is comfortable for them to believe, it's just a matter of whether you care that what you believe is true. I tend to care, so I don't pretend to know anything.

in Islam, the God (Allah) does not exist in human form`He has made all these fabulous things happen... He is the one and the only God!

Well I'm not going to ask you how you know that, because I'm sure you'll have an answer. But you actually have to prove that not just assert it.

I am really sceptical about it, but I think I don't..even though my ID says I am a Christian Orthodox I am myself don't believe that much in God anymore..
Faith is trust or commitment to what you think is true. Why a person thinks God is true may differ from individual to individual. For one person, it might be because God speaks to his puso and produces in him a conviction this is true. To another person, though, it may be a madami hardheaded intellectual exploration of the evidence that leads him to the same conviction this is true. Well, Yes. I believe in God, Allah. I'm a muslim. islam is a religion of peace. 1. Muhammad was a peaceful man who taught his followers to be the same. Muslims lived peacefully for centuries, fighting only in self-defense, and only when it was necessary. True Muslims would never act aggressively. 2. Religious minorities have flourished under Islam. Muslims are commanded to protect Jews and Christians (the People of the Book) and do them no harm. The Quran says in Sura 109,"To you, your religion. To me, mine." 3. islam is intolerant of enslaving human beings. The religion eradicated the institution of slavery thanks to the principles set in motion sa pamamagitan ng Muhammad, who was an abolitionist.

If all Muslims were like this, I wouldn't , all religions for that matter. I generally hate religion because they all manage to mind a way, discreet or not, to cause violence and demean women.

That is a flawed assumption. ^Not every religion contains such intentions. "If all muslims were like this"- Originally muslims must be like this. But, there are some muslims out there who misinterprets the true intentions of Islam. People must understand the difference between islam and radical Islam.

I think anything is possible but at the same time I'm very skeptical about it~ I think that if a God (or multiple Gods for all we know) does exist then it would be something very different then from what we think of God as ~
Nope. I don't believe in any religion because I see them only as security blankets and imaginary friends. I can appreciate the stories, though. = )
I also agree with the above. If there's a higher form of being, they aren't going to be what we think, and I'll wait 'til I see one to even think about believing in them. They certainly aren't going to be spending all their time watching us like we're the most interestingly precious ants ever, though.
