It's hard.. I think I'd ask him if he's happy.. and if he has any wish or maybe I would ask him: "if you would have the possibility to return and to do everything all over again.. what are the things that you'd do differently?" I'm sure he's happy where he is though, he was filled with love.. and I believe that only those that are very much loved sa pamamagitan ng God are leaving so soon...
