What do you make of Melisandre now?

(Contains Spoilers etc etc!)
After what we witnessed at the end of S6 E1, what do you make of the Red Priestess?

Seeing the final scene of the episode really threw me - NOT what I was expecting! I wasn't sure whether to feel horrified at what I saw, or even slight sympathy for Melisandre. It's hard think that she's working for the powers of good if this is indeed her true form. Would the possibility of her raising John Snow with her magic even be a good idea? Who knows what he would turn out like? Either way, good job Stannis didn't discover the truth!

I noticed her sadness from the araw after the burning of Shireen when Ramsey hit the camp and half the soldiers deserted and his wife hung herself. The look in the Priestess' eyes was just forlorn! And she did the only thing she knew to do, go for the other hero she'd seen in her Lord's visions.

And when she sees Jon's body, her world falls apart! She is having a full crisis of faith! She doesn't understand why for the first time her visions are lying to her. (this is all a guess. I haven't read the books)

And then at the end of the episode, she needs to confront the truth that has been protected sa pamamagitan ng the glamor all this time, a lie for the masses, that she is actually centuries old. She'll need to find her faith again if she is to help Jon Snow. And will she sacrifice herself so that he can live again since she has always believed that death pays for life?
