Glee Season 6: Lea Michele and Darren Criss Get Egged on Set! (PHOTOS)

Glee is back in Lima, Ohio for Season 6, and while the days of taking a slushie to the face seem to be long behind us, it looks like our favorite characters are in for some other unpleasant surprises.

Photogs spotted Lea Michele (Rachel) and Darren Criss (Blaine) on the FOX dramedy’s Los Angeles set on November 19, and the actors had just been egged — each sporting a fair amount of yolk and eggshell on their respective outfits. Not cool!

No word on who the egg-crazy culprit was, but hearing about this egging got us thinking about the first time Ms. Berry was egged. Is anyone really surprised that this gal’s seen the inside of an egg more than once? As diehard Glee viewers might recall, Rach was first egged in Season 1 while running to meet former love Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff) in the McKinley parking lot. The Vocal Adrenaline kids pelted Rachel with the “poor egg fetuses” first; then, to prove his loyalty to VA, Jesse cracked an egg square in the middle of Rachel’s forehead. Could Jesse be back for round two?

No matter the circumstances, Lea and Darren both took this latest egging in stride and were seen smiling even as yolk dripped down their faces. What good sports!
