You know, that Asian-looking girl who sometimes hangs out with Blair... but is she really Asian?
Well, her name is 'Kati' and it might sound a bit Japanese, but actually it's a Hungarian name.(Hungary is a small Eastern European country)
Her surname is 'Farkas'(source: imdb), which is also a Hungarian word. It means 'wolf'.
So the tanong is: why does an Asian actress (Nan Zhang) play a Hungarian character? Probably the creators thought 'Kati' must be a Japanese name LoL
But I'm really glad that I've found something Hungarian on Gossip Girl cause I'm from Hungary, too...:)
---I had to share this... LoL---

Chuck: You're lying.
Blair: I am not!
Chuck: Your eyes are doing that thing where they don't match your mouth.
Blair: I wasn't aware that robots got jealous. Did they update your software while I was away?

Blair: Damn that Motherchucker!

Blair: Chuck! Aren't you done trying to destroy my night?
Chuck: Look I should never have abandoned you. I know I made the wrong decision as soon as your plane took off. Distracted myself all summer...hoping I wouldn't feel it, but I still do.
Blair: And?
Chuck: I was scared...I was scared that if we spent the whole summer together, just us, then you'd see.
Blair: See...

 I X Serena
I X Serena
I have be an avid tagahanga of Gossip Girl from its pilot episode where I clearly remember when Serena van der Woodsen stepped into the airport in tune with the “She’s Back” slogan. But lately, Gossip Girl and Serena are getting on my nerves. Why do I have such a beef with Serena’s character?

First of all, I have a serious problem with someone who does not learn from nakaraan mistakes, but habitually makes decisions that are based on lies and cover-ups. Serena is a serial liar. She lies to everyone about everything. Serena has lied to Nate, Blair, Dan, and her countless other boyfriends and...

The whole concept of placing these two together has irked me since the idea was introduced. Call it the Joey and Rachel (Friends) or George and Izzie (Grey's Anatomy) effect. Just like Blair sinabi in the Hurt Locket, some couples only look good on paper. These are my 5 reasons why I don't think this couple is going to work. Please note, this is JUST MY OPINION.

5) Lack of story development
Yes, we all know about the fateful night at the wedding. The event that started the series. We all know about Nate's pag-ibig for her, and Serena's wish to keep her friendship with Blair. The Serena/Blair/Nate...

01. GAMES

I mean, obviously. Chuck/Blair has been a near-constant battle. Games were part of the foundation of their relationship ("You and I bonded over a mutual pag-ibig of scheming"), games were part of their undoing. Season 2 is inundated with dialogue about games and stakes, winning and losing. Games + Chuck and Blair's king and reyna pretensions = every chess and war cliche reference in the history of ever.

Also obviously, games aren't the point. S2's sabotage, schemes, wagers, and ~seductions are just a way for Chuck and Blair to channel their feelings for each other into a safer type of...

Epilogue Part 2

Italics are basically flashbacks recalling the events of the nakaraan night (night of Blair's welcome back)

Previously:

Chuck had asked to be excused as he picked Eliza up and walked to a private booth to speak with her. At first Eliza was afraid that her daddy was angry with her for the way she had behaved, but her assured her otherwise and she was quite happy and satisfied after their father/daughter chat...

 Brittany Snow as 'Lily Rhodes'
Brittany Snow as 'Lily Rhodes'
"So did you like this Valley Girls prequel?"

I am sure interested in what Lily's life was, it somewhat mirrors Serena's life now. How was Brittany Snow as Lily Rhodes? Did you think she looked like Lily. The transitions between Lily Rhodes and Lily van der Woodsen were well done, as I found myself comparing both individuals and they were somewhat the same. I know they are the same person, but think about it, has Lily van der Woodsen ever really grown up? There is still a hint of Lily Rhodes in there, mixed with a bit of her mother's (Cece) cliche moments.

Temptation of the Best Kind- Chapter Five

He knew that he was never going to be able to get though the whole weekend with Blair and everybody else. He almost wanted to back out and not go just to see what her reaction would be. It was sure to get a rise out of her. But Chuck knew that he couldn’t do that, he had to try and save face in front of her.
He was also curious to see if she was had actually been serious when she had sinabi that she didn’t want him anymore. He might have pushed her too far that araw on the camping trip and irrevocably broke what they might have had. Now that Blair had...

Friendly Encounters- Chapter Eleven

This chapter is rated VM for VERY MATURE.

Her mind screamed, YES! Was he finally going to give into her and spare them both the agony of waiting. “Sex? Are you serious?”
Chuck moved closer to her. “Yes, I have never been madami fucking serious in my entire life. Do you still want me?” He breathed into her ear.
His hot breath fanned her ear, and she felt the need to sit down on her kama before her legs gave out and she went crashing onto the floor. “Chuck, I need to know now if we’re really going to go through with it this time. You’re not going to...

A/N: Okay, this has taken me too long, I agree, but I am DETERMINED to get this chapter done today! Call it a happy valentine’s araw present, whatever! ;p Although, I have to warn you…I will not be updating this story for awhile after this chapter, b/c I’ve made a schedule of when I update things and I plan to stick to it! *huffs* So yeah….several other stories will be updated after this, and not all of them on ff.net, but some on fp.com and yes. Just as a forewarning. ;p I would go on and on about how the NB pics have been driving me insane and I just don’t know what to do with myself...

Adults pagganap like teenagers, guarding secrets, Pagsulat gossip all with the trappings of truly opulent wealth. And membership in this community was so elite, you couldn’t even buy your way in. It was a birth right. A birth right I didn’t have, and my greatest achievements would never earn me.
All I had to compare to this world was what I read in books, but that gave me the idea. I wasn’t born into this world – maybe I could write myself into it. I overheard enough conversations to be...

Part 2

Its the final araw of filming. The GG gang are filming the last few of the wedding scenes and the atmosphere is really good but emotional as the cast know it's their last araw together before their holidays.
They have just filmed Chuck's wedding speech and are taking their lunch break.

Leighton and Ed have eaten their lunch and are standing around on set talking.

L: uy let me know if you see Seb, he sinabi he was coming today but he's not here yet.
E: Ever heard of a phone...you can use it to contact someone to find out where they are.
L: (laughs) Well i dont have it with me do I! its in my locker....

Her words kept echoing in his head like a broken record "It's too late, Chuck. I stood sa pamamagitan ng you through all of this but I can't watch you self-destruct any longer." He understands though. He actually thought it was funny because he knew that she would come back to him. She always did. But a little voice in the back of his head kept saying "This time it was different."...

WARNING: SPOILERS for 6x08
This is just my opinion, so Derena fans, please don't bite my head off. I had to let out my feelings.
Dan and Serena have broken up and gotten back together for like a million times. And each time they get back together, they only last 2 or 3 episodes before they decide to break up again. This shows that don't work, as everytime they get back together, 2 or 3 episodes later, something comes up that makes them fight and break up.
Nate handles a Serena episode better than Dan. Nate went through a similar situation wtih Serena in season 3, that Dan went through with...

There are many theories as to why it makes no sense for Dan to be Gossip Girl, from feigning shock for the walls of his bedroom, to spreading rumers about Jenny’s sex life and sabotaging his own relationship with Serena multiple times and even making split decisions based on posts that he just saw on gossip girl.

I could rationalize all of these theories, but so far in my rewatching there is one reason that stands above all and makes it actually completely physically IMPOSSIBLE for Dan to be gossip girl. SEASON 2 EPISODE 15!!!!! First of all, Nelly Yuki steals Dans phone!! Right away wouldn’t...

A Gossip Girl pinagmulan confirms that Broadway vet Aaron Tveit is reprising his role as Nate’s wealthy cousin, Tripp Vanderbilt, in November for at least six episodes.

The politically minded Tripp will announce that he’s running for office (possibly the senate) and Nate will get involved with his campaign. Holley Fain, who portrayed Tripp’s fiancée, will also be returning for multiple episodes.

Tripp was mentioned in the season premiere sa pamamagitan ng Nate's grandfather, who, in a bit of foreshadowing, called him about a way to potentially stick it to the Buckleys.

Tveit will juggle his Gossip Girl arc with his Broadway kalesa in susunod to Normal.
