In Your Arms, Here I Lay; Chapter Three

Good morning, Upper East Siders! It seems as if our ex-Queen B has been in an accident. That’s right. You heard right, an accident. No worries, though, she’s alive. After all, what would we do without our twice-dethroned Ice Queen?

Spotted: Lonely Boy, Little J, N, and reyna S all headed for school. I wonder if S & N know about B…and C?

Not spotted: We know B’s in the hospital, but where’s C? – Could it be? Is he with B? Are they back together? How long will they last?

So many questions, in so little time.

You know you pag-ibig me,

XOXO Gossip Girl

--

“How does this Gossip asong babae find out about stuff so fucking fast?”

“She’s Gossip Girl, Chuck. She knows everything. She has hundreds of minions, remember?”

“That what? Work in this hospital?” Chuck asked. He was angry – no, pissed. Not only had Gossip Girl found out about Blair, but she had called Blair “twice-dethroned Ice Queen” and “ex-Queen B”. As if he wasn’t already guilty about how this was all his fault, even if Blair had told him it wasn’t.

“Chuck, it’s fine. So she knows about me, and you – us – but like I said, she’s Gossip Girl. She makes a living on this shit. So what? She knows I’m in the hospital. It’s fine. Anyways, someone would’ve found out eventually. And then would’ve told everyone else.”

She was right. Someone would’ve found out sooner or later. He sighed and nodded, “Yeah, I guess you’re right.”

Blair smiled. “Of course I’m right, silly. Now just relax. Everything will be okay, okay?”

Chuck nodded again. “Okay.”

--Flashback--

There was a loud knock on the door.

“Just a sec,” Chuck yelled.

“Chuck Bass, open this fucking door right now, or so help me God, I’ll break it down! – Okay, so maybe I won’t break it down, but I’m sure I can find someone to do it for me!” a very angry Blair Waldorf shouted from outside the door of 1802.

He walked over to the door, and opened it. “Well, well, well. What do we have here? A dethroned bitch, standing in front of…me? But it can’t be. Is that…Blair Waldorf?”

“You Basstard!” She slapped him. Hard.

“If you wanted to play rough, all you had to do was ask, Waldorf,” he quoted himself from the night of her seventeenth birthday, smirking, rubbing the spot on his cheek where she had just slapped him.

Her hair and make up were messed up, eyes red from crying. “How could you?!”

“How could I what?!”

“You know what, Mother Chucker! You did this! I know you did! You did something! I just know it!” she screamed at the tuktok of her lungs.

“Could you keep it down? If you hadn’t noticed, other people live in this building too.”

She slapped him again. “I hope you’re happy, Bass-hole! I hate you!” Blair sinabi in disgust. Then she turned, and stormed off to the elevators.

He sighed and chased after her. “Blair, wait!”

“What, Chuck?! Aren’t you done trying to ruin my life?! First, you can’t say those 3 damn words! Then, you get me dethroned! Again! What madami do you want?!”

“You!”

She froze, before speaking again. “Well, that’s too bad. You can’t have me.” The elevator doors closed.

Chuck sighed once moor, falling to the floor, his back against the elevator doors. That’s when he realized it. When he realized he needed to tell her that he loved her, not only because it was what she wanted to hear, but because he did. He did pag-ibig her.

He stood up, and called for the elevator. “Fuck,” he mumbled to himself. The elevator was still on the first floor. So he turned and looked for another way to get downstairs, only to find out there was only one other way down: the stairs.

--

Once the elevator doors closed, the tears she were holding back, fell down her cheek; sobs racked her entire body. She’d Nawawala her “Queen B” status, Serena, Marcus, her supposed “friends”…and most importantly, Chuck. He had admitted that he wanted her, but she needed to hear those three words; she needed to hear that he loved her.

Blair quickly wiped the tears away, stood up, and took a deep breath.

There was a loud ‘ding’, and the elevator doors opened.

--

“Damn it!” Chuck yelled at himself. “You just HAD to choose a suite on one of the higher floors, didn’t you, Chuck?!”

There was a sign on the pader that sinabi “2”.

“Only one moor floor to go, Bass,” a voice that sounded like Blair sinabi in his head.

--

Once she was outside, she didn’t know where she was going. She just let her legs take her wherever.

“Blair!” she heard someone call out her name.

She turned around to see who it was. “Chuck?”

Blair didn’t realize she was standing in the middle of the street, until she heard the car horn honk. Before she knew it, her body crashed against the windshield, and she met the blacktop, a few moments later.

“Blair!” he screamed, running over to her still form. He gently took her into his arms. “Blair?” Chuck was hoping that she would reply. But she didn’t.

Tears formed in his eyes. “Don’t do this to me, Waldorf. Please. I’m begging you, just open those beautiful eyes of yours.” A sob escaped his body, as she remained the same way: still and lifeless.

--

She felt something wet land on her cheek. Was he…crying? No, it couldn’t be; Chuck bass didn’t cry. But, yet, he was. He was crying over…her.

“I’m sorry, Chuck,” she apologized to him in her head. “I can’t hold on for much longer.”

There was an ambulansya siren from somewhere near them. But it was still far away.

--

He felt her lifeless form become limper in his arms. “Blair, please don’t die. Just hold on for a little longer. Please.” Tears were pouring down his cheek, crazily. He couldn’t lose her. He just couldn’t. Not now; not ever.

--

The paramedics made it in the nick of time. She was barely breathing, but they were able to save her; give her the amount of oxygen she needed.

--

The drive to the hospital was like a blur to him. He was focused on her, and only on her. Chuck didn’t care about anything else.

--

“Mr. Bass?”

Chuck looked up. “Is she alright?” he asked the doctor.

“Ms. Waldorf is fine. She’s in a coma right now-…”

He interrupted the doctor. “A coma? Is...is she gonna be okay? Do you know when she’ll wake up?”

“She’ll be fine, sir. We’re not sure when she’ll wake up, but we presume in about 10 - 12 hours, or so.”

“She’s going to be okay, though, right?!” he was practically screaming at the doctor.

“Mr. Bass, please calm down,” the doctor tried to reassure him.

“Calm down? You want me to calm down? How the fuck am I supposed to calm down when the pag-ibig of my life is laying in a comatose?” he asked angrily.

“Please, Mr. Bass. I assure you, we’ll try to do everything we can. Just please, calm down.”

Chuck took a deep breath. “If anything happens to her, I assure you, I will hunt you down; kill you with my bare hands. So don’t just fucking stand there, do something! Take tests, x-rays, just help her, god damn it!”

The doctor nodded, and left.

--End of Flashback--

There was a loud sound coming from outside the window.

Chuck groaned, looking at Blair to see if she was still asleep, which thankfully, she was.

He got up from his seat, and opened the curtains. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

--

He quickly made his way over to the reception desk. “Excuse me?”

The young woman looked up. “Yes, sir? May I help you?”

“There’s a construction site right across the kalye from my girlfriend’s hospital room. I was wondering whether you could transfer her to another room?” He smirked when he called Blair his ‘girlfriend’. It was good to call her that. They were finally together. He had wanted this for so long. Not just the sex, but a real relationship; no madami games.

“I’m sorry, sir, but I don’t think there’s any madami rooms. If I could have your name, I can ask one of the doctors if I could ilipat her to another floor away from the construction site.”

“Of course. It’s Charles Bass.” He knew that his father had ibingiay the hospital thousands of dollars for renovations.

The young nurse froze at his last name. “It seems I was wrong…Mr. Bass,” she stuttered. There’s two madami rooms available on this floor, and…and one of th…them is on the other side of the floor; far away from the site.” Chuck could tell she was nervous. If he told his father something bad about this hospital, and that he should stop donating money, Bart would.

“Thank you,” Chuck replied, smirking even more.

Sometimes, it was nice to be a Bass.

--

He re-entered the room. “Hey, you’re awake.”

Blair nodded. “Yeah, I couldn’t sleep with all that noise outside.” She rubbed her eyes, and yawned.

Chuck grinned. “I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that,” he informed her, “I got you a new room.”

She laughed. “I hope you didn’t scare the nurse or doctor too much.”

“No worries. I just had to use my last name.”

Blair laughed again.

“So,” Chuck began again, “how are you going to thank me, Waldorf?”

“Well, Bass, I think I might start out with this,” she kissed him on the lips, “and then, this,” she moved down to his neck, “and then this,” she said, biting. He moaned. “And then, maybe, this,” she continued, unbuttoning his shirt, “and…” She was cut off sa pamamagitan ng the sound of the door opening. They both turned to see who it was.

“Um, sorry to interrupt, Mr. Bass, but the room is ready.”

Chuck cleared his throat. “Thank you. I’ll be sure to tell your boss to give you a raise…or maybe even a promotion.”

The young nurse smiled gratefully. “Thank you, Mr. Bass,” she sinabi pushing the wheelchair into the room.

He nodded and helped Blair into the wheelchair. “What room?”

“937.”

--

When they got to room no. 937, Chuck picked Blair up in his arms, and helped her into the bed.

She still had a cast on her leg, but she was much better then she was a few days ago. Her bruises were starting to disappear - the scars and scratches as well – and the bandage around her head had been removed.

“Now, where were we?” Chuck asked, his usual smirk plastered on his face.

“Hmmmm. I think we were about…here,” Blair reminded him, unbuttoning the rest of the buttons on his sando while halik him.

He got on the bed, being careful not to hurt her.

She stopped. “Thank you, Chuck. For everything.”

“For you, Waldorf? Anything.”

A/N: Tada! This is the longest thing I’ve ever written. Well, for one chapter, anyways, hehe. But seriously, this is madami than 6 pages long (almost 7), LOL. So, I hope you liked it! I know I haven’t updated in like, over a month, hehe. My bad. :P
