Are you being legitimately serious when you say the Twilight Bampira are fairies?

Ugh, I seriously hop nobody is actually serious when they say that. For their own sake.

Drinking blood is not their only defining factor. There's also the ability to turn others into what they are.

There's no set criteria to what a vampire is or isn't. Stephenie Meyer says they're vampires, so they're vampires.
I could be stubborn and say mga engkanto do magic, so Harry could technically be a fairy, but he's not, becuase JK Rowling says he's a wizard.

I don't believe there's such a thing as "butchering folklore"."

To elaborate on that, and to respond to common accusations:

The Twilight Bampira do NOT live in trees!
I have no idea why people like saying this. I don't even know where they got this idea.

The Twilight Bampira do NOT fly!
Running fast is not even similar to flying. Yes, they can jump, but jumping is still not flying.

Twilight Bampira do NOT live in the forest!
The Cullen's house is located in a forest, but they have lived in many different locations.
The Cullens alone have lived in:
Forks, Washington
Denali, Alaska
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Rochester
Appalachia
Chicago
Hoquiam
Ithaca, New York
Wisconsin

Some Bampira have lived in sewers.
the Denali coven has lived in Slovakia, Russia, and Spain.

The ONLY sparkle in the sun

They do not perform magic
I'm pretty sure that's a fairy thing.

The do NOT carry around any dust or powder
I'm pretty sure that's a fairy thing also.

I've never come across a fairy tale that says mga engkanto bite people, inject them with venom, and change them into a fairy.
I'm pretty sure that's a vampire thing.



Unless people want to say that the Twilight Bampira are only mga engkanto when they are in the forest, in the sunlight, and jumping, then their species immediately changes when they enter the shade, exit the forest, and walk on the ground, I'm going to go ahead and assume they're either joking or just really stubborn.

I usually never call Twilight Bampira mga engkanto mainly because I don't really see a connection. Although, I laugh at some of the jokes for the sake of joking.

I tend to call them pixies madami than mga engkanto actually.

Besides the drinking blood factor, I think the vampires' perfection and sparkles make them closer to pixies than vampires. This is all my opinion, so feel free to disagree.

Of course we're not serious, that would be mean to fairies. JK I don't completely hate Twilight, I just think that it's become a bit of a joke
