Obviously, this spot is about debating Harry Potter and Twilight, and I realised I've never written an article, so I decided to put down all my reasons for Harry Potter being better than Twilight.
Firstly, the 'love' in Twilight is not love. It is over powered lust. To my memory, Edwrad and Bella never have a conversation about from who loves the other more. Edward likes Bella because she smells good, Bella likes Edward because he's 'handsome' (which can't even be proven, he's a book character, we never see him).
The pag-ibig in Harry Potter is shown as an amazing, all powerful thing that can sace the world. As Dumbledore sinabi "[Love is] a force at once madami madami wonderful and madami terrible than death". pag-ibig is everything. It was pag-ibig that kept Harry alive all those times. One quote can some up the amount of pag-ibig in Harry Potter:
"After all this time?"
"Always"
-Dumbledore and Snape, Chapter 33 of 'The Deathly Hallows'.
Twilight fans often claim that Twilight is better because it is a pag-ibig story, but there is romantic pag-ibig in Harry Potter, too. Like Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ginny and James and Lily. All cute couples who actually know what pag-ibig is.
Harry Potter has types of pag-ibig Twilight cannot even dream of, Friendship pag-ibig and family love. The one example of family pag-ibig in Twilight is Renessmee (sp?). In Harry Potter, family pag-ibig is shown everywhere, most predominantly when James and Lily die for Harry. There is also friendship pag-ibig in Harry Potter, most notably between the trio. They are willing to die for each other. In Twilight, Bella ditches her mga kaibigan when she meets Edward. Bella treats her mga kaibigan like rubbish.
The best example of pag-ibig in Harry Potter, in my opinion, is the story of Snape and Lily. Snape was in pag-ibig with Lily from the time they were children, he did everything for her. But He insulted Lily, calling her 'Mudblood' (a derogatory word for a muggle born), in their fifth year. He still loved her when she hated him, even though he Nawawala her to his worst enemy. He loved her so much, he stopped being a Death Eater and spied on Lord Voldemort for Dumbledore. Eventually, he died for Lily. (I like to think they met in heaven who made up ^^)
The segundo problem with Twilight is how sexist it is. Bella is a weak female who just sits around waiting for her prince to come. Bella never does anything herself, she moans all the time instead. When Edward leaves, she mopes for four months. Four months over a boyfriend she didn't even know that well.
Harry Potter is full to the brim of strong girls. Some examples are:
-Hermione- smart, brave, even when she's bullied she stays strong
-Ginny- Brave, funny, friendly
-Tonks and Lily-die for their families
-Luna- again, constantly picked on, but never changes.
The Harry Potter females made me happier with who I was, but Bella just made me depressed.
Talking of Edward, this brings me onto my susunod point. Edward Cullen is an abusive stalker. He sneaks into her room and watches her sleep BEFORE they were going out. Even if they were going out, it would still be creepy for him to sneak in. As for abusive, Edward takes the engine out of Bella's truck so she can't see her best friend, just because Edward doesn't like him. That's not love, that's outright abuse.
Another reason I don't like Twilight is because of the author, Stephenie Meyer. Compared to J.K Rowling, Meyer looks even worse. To illustrate this point, take a look at their Philanthropy sections on Wikipedia:

Stephenie Meyer only gave money to help someone she knew who was in need, not out of the goodness of her own heart.
Also, Meyer cannot write. The Twilight 'Saga' is full of short, simple sentences with constant reference to Edwards supposed 'beauty'.
Harry Potter ,on the other hand, is full of complex, interesting sentences full of only relevant information. Even things that don't seem important at the time turn out to be. Most of Meyer's work is pointless information, such as what Bella is wearing.
Another problem with Twilight is the attitude towards deatha nd the perception of war. Meyer seems to be scared of death, even though "to the organised mind, death is the susunod great adventure". In her final battle, no-one dies. This is completely unrealistic! None of the characters have to work for what they want. Not only is this a bad story line, it's unrealistic. You also have to work for what you want! That's life!
My final point is that Twilight makes no sense. I know the old argument; "It's fantasy, it doesn't have to make sense!". This is true to an extent. But there are too many inaccuracies to ignore.
For a full list, visit the 'Scientific inaccuracies' page on nagyelo apples(link). I will listahan the main ones here.
Firstly, you cannot gain, lose or change your chromosomes in any way. What you are born with, you keep. So Meyer saying that you gain two when you turn into a vmpire is wrong. There is no way around it.
Secondly, if the Bampira keep human sized teeth, there is no way they could drink blood. Human teeth aren't long enough.
The final scientific inaccuracy is the fact that Twilight Bampira sparkle. Meyer says that the venom turns each cell into "a single facet" of a "crystal like substance". If this is true, the Bampira shouldn't be able to ilipat at all.
There are three madami things that make no sense in Twilight. Firstly, Bella's family actually believed she had fallen down some stairs and through a window just because she's a little clumsy. Surely if this happened, Doctors would be concerned. You can't be that clumsy. There's going to be something wrong with her balance.
Also, Forks isn't the rainiest place in America. And even if it was, clouds don't stop the sunlight reaching the earth.
Finally, Carlisle hid in the sewers of London. Around Carlisle's time in London, sewers were just open ditches in the ground. So either the police were very stupid, or Meyer didn't do her research. (If they were open ditches in the ground, how did sunlight not get in?)
