Harry Potter Tanong

This has doubtless been asked before but it was bugging me so i thought i'd ask it again. In GoF after their wands connect, shouldn't Harry's mother have come out before her father if it was the reverse order to how they died?

Was this just a goof sa pamamagitan ng JKR or am i missing something?
