I just established today that at least one bookstore in Seoul will be selling HP&tDH on the 21st (I was afraid they wouldn't be selling them until later, given that Korea isn't a native English country) so I might organize my own party of English-speaking Harry Potter enthusiasts to wait together!

I just reserved my copy of the new book, I'm so excited! I will be there for sure at midnight!

harry potter is cool and everything but i don't see why you should be going nuts to get a book in the middle of the night, afterall harry potter is only and i repeate only just a BOOK!!

i have ordered the book, so it should be sent to me, and i should receive on the morning of the release. I wouldn't line up for it, because, there will no doubt be people driving past, shouting out real or fake spoilers of the book, and ruining it for people, just like there was with the half-blood prince

I'm sorry your experience for Half-Blood Prince was sucky. Mine was great, which is why I'm eager to try it again. A car full of my friends and I headed to one of the large bookstores but none of us had preordered the book (silly college students) so, of course, they were all sold out. With 30 minutes to go until midnight, we realized that there was a smaller bookstore at a nearby mall and long story short, there were only 10 other Harry Potter fans awaiting the special hour there so we were able to quickly buy our Harry Potters. I proceeded to read the book until 3 am, sleep until 7 am, and then finish the book soon there after (I'm a naturally fast reader). It was glorious!

I've never been to one of these HP parties and since this is the last one, I think it would be appropriate to get my geek on.

I don't think that there are any of those HP bookstore parties where i live...which is really sad, otherwise i would have gone. I'll get it as soon as i can on the 22nd! :D

If I have friends who are going, I'll be at Borders at midnight.

I'll be at Waterstone's in my local, and I'll probably drag benji along too, as I finally, finally, got him into Harry Potter.

I had such a fun time last year when I did the midnight premier, undoubtedly I will do it again. And staying up until 3 at least...

Last time I stood in line at borders starting at about 10 and by midnight, there were still so many people in front of me, by 12:45 we were still standing in the same spot. So we gave up and went to walmart. they had a huge stack in the middle of the main isle and they were 5 bucks cheaper :)

I might, I mean, it's not like I'll have a whole lot else goin' on...

omg, if only but im going to be in israel when it comes out! i considered not going until i realized that i was giving up a once in a lifetime trip just for a book! (and now i cant realized i cemeaned harry potter by calling it a mere book)

I have pre-orded it already and I will be picking it up the night before at a special party that is available at the book store I got it at!!!!

My sister went and picked half-blood prince up at midnight for fun, promising to let me read it as soon as she got home. She didn't give it up until 4:30 that morning (I had waited up for it and everything!) ;)... that's how irresistable they are. I finished it at noon that day. aaahhh can't wait for the last one.

i am standing in line with my sister but i am not buying the book cuz i am going to read hers so i dont like a waste money but i am reading the book as fast as possible
