German Interview With Franka Potente 

Q: Ms Potente, after "The Shield" you will be seen in a US series for the second time. This time in the most successful one. How did this happen?
FP:"Dr. House" is my favorite show and, by the way, has been elected the most popular one. I think Hugh Laurie is great (super) as House. When I got the offer I didn't hesitate for one second. Liaisons for House are rather rare.

Q: How much of Hugh Laurie does one 'get' while filming House?
FP: I liked working with Hugh very much. Of course you get [to see] him in private, as well. But since it is private, I'd rather not talk about my colleague in that regard. I find Hugh very enjoyable and funny. A great colleague and actor. We worked very well together. He is totally professional and works very hard. Lots of hours, lots of days, very little off. I perceived him as an absolute perfectionist. Someone who is not quickly satisfied.

Q: We can tell this much: You and Hugh Laurie kiss. How was that?
FP: Very enjoyable...

Q: The season premiere takes place in a psychiatric institution. Where was that filmed and can you imagine appearing in a US series permanently?
FP: We filmed at Fox studios. But in a whole 'different world' than one is used to with 'House'. Yes, after the great experience of filming 'House' I could imagine being on a US show for a while. The quality of the shoot was very high, with lots of love for detail. Almost like the movies.

Q: Where do you place your guest role on 'House' with regards to your career so far and what is yet to come?
FP: I don't know. I don't think about it that way. In the US the season premiere was well received. That was great, of course.
