I love this article so much! She outlines exactly why this show is still fantastic (if not more fantastic) and I wish all the bitter fans would read it.

I completely agree K, I wish all the bitter fans would read this and realize that House is so much more than just about relationships.......ACTUALLY I think a great deal of House fans would benefit from reading this article and realizing (again I repeat) that House MD is so much more than about relationships. I realize we all love our respective ships, but House is like a detailed quilt, every stich matters to create the overall intricate pattern.

I think people forget sometimes, and this article just shows, what intelligence and with almost anal attitude every episode is made to the best of their ability.

If you want a show that has limited depth and focusing entirely on romance than you should stop by Seattle Grace (I believe that's where Grey's Anatomy takes place).

EDIT: Of course though I will be a complete hyprocrite if they ever decide to kill Cuddy.

Oldmovie, I couldn't agree more. Although we're all guilty of complaining about soemthing we didn't like at one point or another, at the end of the day, House is still the best show on TV, and we just need to rememeber WHY we love it- that hasn't changed! It's so amazing when you step back and think about the little deatils they put into every episode that come up later, and just the inticracy(sp?) and subtext of the plot and characters as a whole.

I love Barabara Bennet! She seems to be the most intelligent and well-written of all the House reviewers. And she really, really loves the show and never hesitates to point out the good in it that a lot of other critics(and fans) just seem to miss.

I love it, although I was a bit frustrated by her look on Huddy I look forward to how that will play out; and after it undoubtedly falls apart (which we know it will), the fallout from it should only add fuel to the tension between them.
Oh why???
I hope they end up together anyway :)

She's so right about the fallout adding fuel to the tension lol. It really does suck that high chances are..they're not gonna work. I'm just excited that it gets explored.

This, was awesome. She always makes such great points and really does know what she's talking about.

Barbara,

Thank you so much for reaching inside my head and heart (no pun intended) and expressing with much more eloquence than I ever could, my love and obsession with HOUSE and Hugh Laurie (for which I offer no apologies).

I am very proud to include myself among the show's legion of fans, especially after reading the comments above (yep, all 42 of them).

I guess I could be considered a "johnny-come-lately" to HOUSE, as I only discovered it last fall via the USA network reruns. But in no time at all, I was hooked! I haven't been as passionate about a TV show since M*A*S*H and MOONLIGHTING.

I didn't know anything about Hugh Laurie but now I find myself cruising the internet for more information about him. I bought, read and thoroughly enjoyed THE GUN SELLER; I love the Band From TV's DVD and their CD of HOGGIN' ALL THE COVERS plays continuously in my car.

I hope the writers will not listen too closely to what the fans say they want (ie. MOONLIGHTING) and continue to give us the brilliance of their creative writing talent.
