In the movie he locks down his house by closing the windows and has some metal parts, is that for blocking out light because in the scene where the other survivor was arguing with Neville the window isn't blocked and the "things" found them or is it to keep the "things" if they find him locked out? and another question when it is morning there is sunlight but aren't the metal parts supposed to be closed until he opens it?
