Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton Welcome First Child

Josh Hartnett and longtime girlfriend Tamsin Egerton are new parents!

star and Egerton welcomed their first child in London at the end of November after announcing her pregnancy in July, E! News has learned. At the time they didn\'t announce whether they were having a boy or a girl, so we\'ll just have to wait and see if Hartnett has a daughter or a son!

, which filmed in 2010 and 2011. Hartnett and Egerton sparked romance rumors in 2012 but didn\'t make it official until 2013. Since then they\'ve kept their relationship extremely private, which is how the

after he started dating his British girlfriend. "Everybody makes mistakes dating people they work with," he said. "They\'re whom I\'m attracted to because I share experiences with them and understand a bit about what they are and what they do. If I were able to go back in time, I don\'t know if I could have done anything any different."

star was already talking about babies. When asked about acquiring wealth as a result of his career, Hartnett added, "If we could just help one another and express ourselves, we\'d all be happy. But then I think, \'Oh s--t, there are bills to be paid, and I\'d have to get a car that\'s safe for my kid.\' I don\'t have a kid yet, but that\'s the idea coming into my head these days."
