It was called Alexandra Daddario Joins Kate Upton in Comedy ‘The Layover’ | Variety
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Alexandra Daddario has joined Kate Upton to star in director William H. Macy’s road-trip sex comedy “The Layover.”
Producers are Keith Kjarval of Unified Pictures and Aaron L. Gilbert of Bron Studios. Executive producers are Patricia Cox and Jason Cloth of Creative Wealth Media Finance.
Also starring are Rob Corddry, Kal Penn, Matt Jones and Matt Barr.
Macy will direct from a script by David Hornsby and Lance Krall, who have collaborated on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” for which Hornsby was the writer, executive producer and co-star. Daddario and Upton will play a pair of lifelong best friends who decide to avoid their problems by taking a vacation, only to find that their plane has been rerouted due to a hurricane warning.
Daddario stars opposite Dwayne Johnson in “San Andreas,” opening May 29. She’s appeared in HBO’s “True Detective” and the “Percy Jackson” series.
Macy made his directorial debut with the independent drama “Rudderless.” He’ll also have a part in “The Layover.”
WME Global will represent worldwide distribution rights. Daddario is repped by UTA and McKeon Myones Entertainment.

The Helpful Family went to see the taping of the Tonight Show last week and they saw all the guests from the Wed show — Pitbull and David Duchovney — but with the added bonus of The Rock from Thursday’s show — because he had to split a day early so he could perform that wedding he did — so they saw all his segments as well, and a bonus Q&A with Jimmy Fallon while they changed out a set. Two hours of quality entertainment and bonus hunkyness – which was somewhat lost on my hubby and three sons.
Anyone know reason Alexandra Daddario replaced Lea Michele?
Daddario should play Courtney Love in some type of unauthorized biopic.
She does match better with Kate than Lea Michele (originally cast).
