After two close final matches, we are pleased to announce the winner of the

Congratulations to JYJ‘s Junsu! He defeated EXO Chen with a split of 54 to 46 percent.

Coming in third and fourth, respectively, are TVXQ‘s Changmin and FTISLAND‘s Hongki, who also saw similar voting results, their final vote tallies hitting 56 and 44 percent.

While the results may not have been at all predictable, with so many talented idols being knocked out early on, it was undoubtedly a heated tournament, at one point seeing former bandmates Junsu and Changmin go head-to-head. In the end, however, it was Junsu and Chen that made it to the finals, with Junsu coming out on top.

Thanks to everyone who voted, and congratulations again to the four finalists!

congrats Junsu. Your genius concept for the flower MV is shocking in a very good way. Mission accomplished.And the smile at the end is priceless. Flower album is going to be epic !

I thought it was pretty predictable, although I would have liked to see Hongki do better. Anyway, congratulations to Junsu on the well-deserved win! :-)

Congrats to Xia Junsu ....A very humble winner for many years

I\'ve been a DBSK fan since Rising Sun era, but the amount of bragging and putting down of fellow contestants by Junsu fans in the last rounds have been singularly unattractive and reflects badly on a veteran fandom that should know better.

Celebrate Junsu\'s win; don\'t gloat and throw around insults when you\'ve won already. Chen is an extremely talented young vocalist who has improved tremendously in the few years since debut - he still has a long road ahead of him, but his talent should nonetheless be recognized and to make rude and immature remarks about validity just because you view your bias highly is petty. He\'s just as precious to EXO fans as Junsu is to DBSK/JYJ fans.

@Hanjae I don\'t think you read all the posts from the poll to make this inaccurate remark. It is dangerous to give distorted views based on one\'s selfish motive

I saw a shocking amount of bashing, though of course one can never be certain whether they\'re just claiming to be fans to start fanwars.

I completely agree that Junsu deserves his win - honestly his voice - but the fandom superiority makes the triumph taste sour.

@Hanjae Yup and the irony is it is like an "in house" squabble.And not because of the sheer size or superiority of fandom

@Hanjae there is no rift or harsh exchange of words between fans who support Junsu or Exo fans from the beginning till now.It all start when the poll of Junsu and Changmin happened.Don\'t make up stories to turn one\'s fans against others.Stop spreading hatred

@Hanjae I read through all the comments and there is no bitterness between chen and Junsu fandom. I find there are more squabble between a very definite few Changmin and Junsu fans though .That is the irony. They are both from db5k before.It is unbelievable and seem to start mainly from one stan actually.But Junsu deserved the spot as decided.

@Hanjae I am going to set the record straight since I followed the poll from day 1.It is just Changmin and Junsu semi final rounds and got carried to the final round by a few of changmin stans who replied to posts and video clips by junsu\'s  and OT5 fans supporting their comments which became very heated up later.It is unfair to single out only fans who supported Junsu here. At least the winner of the poll has been decided at last.

I am now not sure whether you are a true DBSK fan since Rising Sun cos a real cassie from that era  do not take side.

Come on. Who didn\'t see this outcome? It\'s a Kpop vocal challenge with Kim Junsu as a contestant. It\'s like having an American pop contest with Michael Jackson as a contestant and not expecting him to win. Simple mathematics.

Well, of course Junsu is the best. Did anyone really thought differently?? All four finalists are very very good, but Junsu is the best. His voice is amazing, truly beautiful and moving!! <3<3

Critics and the general public have voted Junsu as the best idol singer for the past few years. Even idols themselves have voted Junsu and Hyorin as the best. It\'s a shame that sometimes these polls just turn into who has the bigger fandom.
