Fun Day:
Jamie sighed as the bus finally came to the stop. 2 whole hours stuck on the bus with Mr. Tight Butt. It wasn't like she'd been in trouble of getting killed, sure she got a few bruises from the bastard but that was all. She definitely didn't need him going a little too cold for her liking when confronting the mugger. Now she couldn't get rid of him, she had to put the whammy on him soon so he'd leave her alone before shit got real. Now he was sitting susunod to her, eyes closed but make no Buto about it if she moved to even breath he'd pop those suckers open and put her out again....the bastard. She thanked god that he didn't even suspect the meaning behind it otherwise....maybe he should know that way he'd stay away voluntarily and she wouldn't have to put a block on his memory which was tricky. In all the time she'd had her powers it had only worked on one or two people and not for long maybe a week. Of course back then it had been an amazing feet which came with a tongue lashing and a butt whipping with a sizable branch. She should not have tried it on her father and mother. Thinking of them made her tear up which got him involved. " I'm just thinking of my parents that's all your highness. " He hated to be called that ,but what did she care he had used her as his fake bride to keep the hounds from the door. Byakuya's lip tightened. " I apologize." Jamie snorted. "What for? Its my tragedy not yours, but thanks." She whispered the last as they got up from their upuan behind the rest of the students. "Come on Jamie, or you'll miss all the good stuff." KiKi sinabi as she waited at the door. "Ugh, I know. Tell me about it. I go missing for a couple of hours and my mom sends out the goon squad." She winked at Byakuya as she darted out and off the bus after KiKi. Leaving him with the lunches she'd brought for them both. One of the teachers came up beside him. "She's trouble that one, but she gets all A's and excels at everything she puts her hand on. So did I hear you right, your her uncle?" Byakuya nodded. "Adopted sa pamamagitan ng her grandparents when I was young. My sister asked me to look out for her." Which wasn't a lie Rukia had asked him to look after the girl as the amount of spirit energy kept fluctuating. As if her moods set it off and on, if she actually knew what he had already witnessed she'd demand he get her assigned to the girl not him. As it was when he went tahanan to make his reports he found himself making it up, hiding the truth from the Society. He was indeed compromised, but to leave it to another would be admitting he could not come to terms with it and resolve the problem. The problem which was now a lovely bouncing purple haired 16 yr old finding pleasure in the amusement park. " I ah see you tend to go for the younger girl's." Byakuya blinked. "No, its just that I am responsible for her safety. She was attacked sa pamamagitan ng a mugger recently and I feel I failed." The other man frowned. "So that was what I heard on the scanner, pretty garbled but yeah. Its not your fault, she should know better not to go out alone especially in that part of town. But being that age you feel untouchable carefree....she doesn't act like she's had any trama, then again some can handle it much madami then we ever could. My names Mat Shinto, I'm a substitute at the high school." He held out his hand. "Byakuya Kuchiki. I also substitute at ...." He didn't finish as the one named Kiki screamed as the stage in front of them exploded with a boy band's sudden appearance. Jamie laughed and waved at Orihemia and Totski as they nearly drooled over the teen boys.
"Well well its nice to see even Totski isn't stone." Jamie giggled as the girl couldn't take her eyes off the lead singer. "How did you get them here?" Jamie blinked. "I didn't. I never contacted them at all. I was as surprised as you were that they were here."
Byakuya found that he wasn't the only reaper in the growing crowd. Hitachi, Unohana, and Kenpatchi were close by. Their eyes suspect on the band. Jamie stilled for a moment. They weren't human. Far from it. She opened up her dragon sense of smell. Magic, but what kind? Her tongue tasted her lower lip. Not bad, but not good. Depending on who you were, the humans would be alright. A little bituin struck and mesmerized but the band was famous....squinting she nearly laughed out loud as she saw who was behind the instruments. Then she felt it, they were looking for someone maybe even her. The spell hit her straight on, honest not sideways like last week when that near zombi almost bit her. That one was working for someone not nice who wanted a piece of her literally. Not that it would have worked but she'd have had to miss the cheer leading try outs, not that she'd ever actually done any cheer leading but this time she wanted the full high school experience along with her hunting down trouble in the city....cities she really had to get going on those demons that were infiltrating the susunod city over. Her old spell teacher bobbed his head her way. She shook her head but then the others pushed her up and onto the stage. Byakuya pushed his way through and then up onto the stage himself taking her hand in his before dragging her off. The crowd booing as he succeeded. Jamie sighed as he basically carried her off behind one of the roller coasters nearby. "What was that?" He demanded. Jamie swallowed. "What was what?" He seethed behind his lips. "Do not play me for the fool?" Jamie tensed. "Are you insane? No one would even believe you could ever be a fool." Jamie ran to the susunod coaster's line. Chad looked up at the coaster in front of him when Shauni popped up susunod to him."Going to ride?" She said. "Did already." He looked down at the girl and saw her paling as she eyed up the coaster. He found it amusing as she could handle danger as if it was a toy but this coaster had her knees knocking. "Afraid?" Jamie wiped the sweat off her brow. " Its alot different in my line. I control the situation this is under someone else's control. You could say in this way I have some trust issues to over come."
