Was anyone else mad that Christopher Meloni is not returning ?

Oh yeah but not really surprised. I bet he and Mariska are both getting burned out and want to do other things. Twelve seasons is a lifetime in tv time so while I'm upset I do understand his decision.

I'm hoping they won't put Olivia with some brand new partner she sould be paired up with Fin or Munch not some newbie...I think they should either kill him off or through him a retirement party cause he's been there since the beginning so the fans deserve some kind of closure for Elliott

i´m not mad. i understand his descion. after 12 good years as leading actor he has all the right to go. everyone knows him as elliot stabler from SVU, so it´s understandable that he look for other projects ore need a break. same for mariska.
i don´t know if they come back....
without the two it´s not the same anymore, perhaps SVU end with season 13.
after all it´s a great ipakita and i will miss elliot but wish him all the best.
