As most of you already know, my name is Kelly! I'm currently 20 years old, and I live in Raleigh NC. I have a twin sister, a younger sister, 2 cats, and a very close family that I love very much. When I'm not busy fan-girling over LP (lol), I usually spend my time working (I love interior design, or anything involving interior appearance or displays), running, shopping, going to the beach... and just trying to have a good time in general! Other than OTH, I'm also obsessed with the TV shows Friends, and The OC. And um... I guess that's about it! 1) How long have you been a OTH/Leyton fan?
I've been a OTH fan since season 3. 3x16 was the first episode that I saw, I happened to just catch it on TV, while flipping through the channels. Needless to say, I was hooked (on both the show, and LP) after that episode, and immediately started catching up from the beginning!

2) Is Leyton your favorite OTH couple? How do they rank among all of your favorite TV couples?
Leyton are not only my favorite OTH couple by far, but also my OTP! And they probably always will be. A few of my other favorite couples are Tony & Tea (Skins US), Pacey & Joey (Dawson's Creek), and Monica & Chandler (Friends)!

3) What is it about them that you love? What makes them different? Why ship them?
What initially caught my attention about LP was just their undeniable connection. After seeing 3x16, I was blown away by their comfort, and trust within eachother. The way that they were actually able to share a couple of laughs together, in the middle of a school shooting is so special, and touching. They really are just the type of couple that you can tell will ALWAYS have something between them that is untouchable <33

4) Which scene do you think most defines LP as a couple?
I'd say the 3x01 "It's always gonna be there isn't it? You and me." scene... says it all!

5) Do you consider LP to be epic? Why, or why not?
Absolutely. Anyone who claims that they aren't is crazy. They went through numerous life threatening situations together, and survived each of them BECAUSE of eachother. Peyton was the reason that Lucas wanted to live through not one, but TWO of his accidents. The characters who referred to them as an "epic love story" could not have been more correct!

6) Do you ship, or like both sides of the triangle? (Both Leyton, and Brucas?)
Nope. Brucas had their cute moments, and I've said it once, and I'll say it again... they had amazing chemistry on screen. But that's about it, for me. I don't see them as anything more than a typical high school, young love type of relationship. No amount of cute scenes or chemistry will ever be able to overshadow the amounts of flaws, and non-endgame characteristics that I see in them.

7) Why do LP belong together, instead of with any of their other ex's?
Because they are the only two people who no one comes between. All of their other relationships failed because LP just never went away, and every one of their ex's knew, and acknowledged that.

8) Do you prefer fluffy, angsty, sad, flirty, hot, or friendship LP scenes?
Angst... nobody does angst like LP! Their friendship scenes are also *thud* worthy :)

9) How do you feel about all the hate LP get? Do you think it's justified?
I understand the hate that they get in regards to their cheating. Cheating is never okay, and that's the one aspect of LP that I'm not fond of. But other than that, I think they get wayyy too much hate that they definitely don't deserve.

10) Pick one common anti-LP opinion, and argue it!
"Lucas & Peyton settled for each other, they weren't each other's first choices". OMG- this is one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard. The reason their previous relationships didn't work was BECAUSE of the love that they still had for eachother. It's not as if they just had a normal split from their ex's, then happened to move on to eachother, because they had no choice. They were there all along, and because of that their other relationships failed.

11) Favorite LP season?
I'm always going back and forth between season 1 & 6 lol. I seriously love all of them though, except season 2 :P

3x16! Epic!

3x21 "I love you too" scene. I loved seeing LP resurface again. Perfectly written. Perfectly executed. Just PERFECT.

4x09. I love the fact that 6x01 represented their endgame... but 4x09 just had a little more to it, with the "I'll be seein' ya" quote/flashback <33

4x02 scenes when they are hanging out in the comet, outside of the mall :)

ALWAYS! Yes, they both also loved other people throughout their lives. But even then, it was acknowledged during each of those relationships that LP were still very much there. Always have been, always will be! <3

Gahhhhhh! Hey people. As most of you already know, I just go by my username because I'm cool like that ;) A majority of people just call me Moosh. But I'm also called Mooshy Moo, Mickey Mouse, Milkshake, Mooshie, Mooshu...I'll pretty much respond to anything lol. I'm 15 and I love LP and OTH. Well, hm back when season 5 was playing I watched bits and pieces of 5x07. And it looked interesting and I watched some more scenes here and there and then finally decided to watch from the pilot. I've been hooked on LP ever since:p

Leyton are my OTP!!!! Love them sooo much! They're actually the only OTH couple I actually shipped through out the whole show.


3) What is it about them that you love? What makes them different? Why ship them?
Okay, so I would just like to say that I don't support cheating. I think it's wrong. But honestly... that is what caught my attention. It's the fact that no matter what they always have to be with eachother and it's not just a fling. Also, that even when they're not together there's something there.It's never over between the two.

4) Which scene do you think most defines LP as a couple?
I think every one is going to use this scene, but deffinitly "It's always going to be there isn't it? You and Me?" or maybe even "It didn't mean anything. It didn't? Ofcourse it did."

5) Do you consider LP to be epic? Why, or why not?
Duh....all the evidence points to them being epic not to mention that it was said on the ACTUALL show that they were epic. About a million times!!!

NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE!!! Sorry, but I can't stand Brucas. They're very immature and not healthy. People say they got together with out hurting anyone, which I admit is true. But while together all they did was hurt and doubt eachother... They were that typical highschool couple that you just know arn't going to last very long.


7) Why do LP belong together, instead of with any of their other ex's?
Well, I think a pretty good reason is the fact that all there other relationships were broken off because of eachother. Brooke broke up with Lucas because he always put Peyton first. Lindsey broke up with Lucas because he wrote yet another book about her. Jake broke up with Peyton because she said "I Love You Lucas" in her sleep and Julian broke up with Peyton because she could never let go of Lucas... they could never let go of eachother.

8) Do you prefer fluffy, angsty, sad, flirty, hot, or friendship LP scenes?
ALLLLL! But I'm going to be in the minority when I say that I like there fluffy scenes the best. I'm a sucker for Happy Leyton♥

9) How do you feel about all the hate LP get? Do you think it's justified?
Well, I think every couple/character deserve to be hated on some things. But I think people take it a little too far with Leyton and I think a lot of the reason is because they got endgame.

10) Pick one common anti-LP opinion, and argue it!
Peyton's not the comet. Brooke is. WTF!? Okay, ummmmmm have I been watching the same show as you people!? It wasn't just something the fans made up. Numerous people on the show said that Peyton was the comet. Peyton's car is the comet. That's how LP first met. That's where their relationship started!

4! I think it's because it was the first time we saw them as an actual couple;)

I'm always stuck between 3x16 and 6x17 both episode were so emotional!

Errrrrr, DUH! If there is one word I associated with LP it's EPIC! Look at their story and the amount of comments about them being epic from the characters in the show,from the actors and from the creators!

Nope. I've never liked Brucas together. For me, pretty much everything about their relationship was wrong.

I think the fact every relationship of theirs that wasn't with each other failed says a huge amount. They have something that they could never replicate with any of their ex's or they could ever with anyone.

Hmmmm I don't feel all of its justified, no. I think some of the hate they get because of their cheating is perhaps justified but after that, I don't get it! Especially with season 3/4, Peyton never did anything!

'LP weren't eachother's first loves. Peyton's first love was Jake, and Lucas' first love was Brooke'. Errrrrr no! Obv this is quite objective until you remember the scene with Peyton and Haley where she said 'I just want to tell him i'm IN love with him' and Lucas' vows where he said 'I have loved you since the first time I saw you', that is NOT puppy love or an obsession! That's real.

Season 1. I think it will always be my favourite because of the amount of angst.

Ahhhh, I hate you!! Either 1x01, 6x23, 6x24 or 4x09. All are incredibly important and are amazing for different reasons<3

Im not really a fan of tv, I barely watch it, so I dont really know many of the shows you taalk about all the time and that makes me feel kind of lost here. i only watch Private Practice (my favorite show), Desperate Housewives and Pretty Little Liars.

Since 3x16...that's the first time I watched a full episode of OTH and Leyton got me hooked.I watched a few scenes of season 2 with a friend before but she told me Brucas was meant to be and that peyton was lesbian slut and a drug addict...she got it all wrong really!

2) Is Leyton your favorite OTH couple? How do they rank among all of your favorite TV couples?
Leyton is the only couple I love from OTH...I like jeyton but I dont really ship them because I always knew LP was the epic couple fo the show. Among my all other tv couples...mmm..they used to be my OTP until I started to watch Private Practice and Violet and Pete took LP's spot....but LP are very close as number 2.

3) What is it about them that you love? What makes them different? Why ship them?
Is everything...they way their story is written, the chemistry between them, the fact that even when they arent together their scenes still scream MEANT TO BE. Not so many couples have the history and written so well as LP.

3x01 Its always going to be there isnt it? you and me...thats the moment Mark was trying to say "Im gonna put brucas together to add some drama, but dont worry kids, Leyton is going to end up together"

of course!! Everything about them screams EPIC!!

Are you crazy?? no way!! brucas is nothing like Leyton, they were just a typical high school romance full with inmature high school fights...Leyton's relationship is on higher level in every way.

Lets start saying that they never connected with other people the same way they connected with each other and of course there is the fact that all their other relationships ended because of Leyton. Neyton, Jeyton, Juton, Brucas, Lincas...they all broke up because Lucas and Peyton couldnt stay away from each other.

I love all but my favorites are hot, flirty and angsty.

Started watching season 2, and the prom episode was my first episode that I saw. And I only started shipping LP in the last year.

Overall they are my 3rd couple, and they are my 2nd couple on One Tree Hill. Brulian are my OTP.

3) What is it about them that you love? What makes them different? Why ship them?
I started to ship them in season 6, when I saw that Lucas would do anything to keep Peyton safe, even if that meant letting their baby die. I saw their connection and the fact that they just totally get each other, in a way that no one else could understand. I love how Lucas was just always there for her, whether it was as a friend, lover or even just in the background.

Defiantly 3x01 "It's always gonna be there isn't it? You and me." scene... says it all!

Pffft yes. Everything about them is Epic, their quotes, their connection, their whole relationship. They are passionate and heartbreaking, and angsty and heartfelt and just pure love.

To be honest, I did like Brucas, and I don’t mind their scenes. I just think they are better off as friends.

They have this connection and the fact is that was always going to be something their between them. They understand each other on so many levels, and their relationship is defined by so many little things.

Angst is my absolute favourite scenes of theirs, they pwan Angst. Also I do like some Fluffy scenes.

I understand the cheating side of everything, but I think the main reason they hate LP is because of people’s hate for Peyton, and also the fact that LP were almost endgame from the very start of One Tree Hill. But I don’t like how people say things about how Chopiha’s divorce had something to do with LP endgame and shit like that.

10) Pick one common anti-LP opinion, and argue it!
"Lucas always picked Brooke over Peyton, Peyton was his second" This is plain stupid… how many times did Lucas CHOOSE to help and be there for Peyton. He always knew that deep down Peyton was the one, and yes he might have choose Brooke, but that doesn’t mean that Peyton was 2nd choice, because Peyton was always going to be his #1 one.

I love 4, overall it’s my main season, followed by 6.

Yes, they are my number one OTH couple, the other one i love is Brulian. They are my OTP, but i love Chair, Clois, Freffy and Delena a lot too.

I love their conection, what makes them different is how they can "read" each others minds so well. Why ship them? WHY NOT would be the right question, they just are it for each other.

i have to accept, i liked Brucas in season 3, but i never shipped them, it has always been Leyton for me, which is weird because normally i like sexy and polar-opposites kind of couples but Lucas and Peyton are really original, that's why i love them, but i can't help but wonder, would i have been a Brucas fan if i had started to watch OTH since season 2? I guess i'll never know.

Because they know each other completely, you know? i mean, to love a person, you have to know them first and in addition to know each other so well, they believe in each others arts too, however the main reason as to why they belong together IMO is because what they have is real love, i'm sorry but i'm one of those persons who believes that you only find love once in your life, that's what makes it special so so therefore i think what they had with other people wasn't love, just infatuation mixed with habit and care.

Unfortunately I did not start watching the show from the pilot.The first episode I watched was 3x16 and had a lot of friends who loved OTH but I didn't like it for whatever reason.I enjoyed that episode but didn't get a chance to continue watching cause I was busy with school.I watched the prom night/psych derek episode. But it wasn't until season 5 that I got hooked. While season 5 was airing on tv...I caught up especially in regards to Leyton.I fell in love with their story.So technically I have been a fan of the show since s5 but I feel like I started watching it from the very beginning.Now I am all caught up. :)

I love how they were destined from the start.From the very first episode,their journey began and no matter what happened to them during the seasons,at the end (as Lucas so brilliantly stated...) "It was always gonna be there,Peyton and Lucas. They were so in to each other in s1 even though at times they wouldn't even admit it to themselves which made me want to root for them even more. Their were many times where they're love story could have ended but it never did.Something always happened that reminded us that the bond LP created was still very much existent.

I started watching when the show was between its 4th and 5th seasons. I was going through a Chad Michael Murray phase and saw OTH on his IMDB page so I decided to watch it. I started it from the beginning and fell in love with Leyton in S1.

2) Is Leyton your favorite OTH couple? How do they rank among all of your favorite TV couples?
Favorite OTH couple? Yes. In OTH couples, I ship Leyton, Naley, Jeyton and Brulian but Leyton is lightyears ahead of the rest. Out of all couples I ship, they definitely fall somewhere in my Top 10. I'd say around 5/6.

3) What is it about them that you love? What makes them different? Why ship them?
It's everything! It's how they get each other, how they complete each other, how they always have the other's back, how perfect their friendship is, how everlasting their love is. They are each other's destiny. And it's funny because I don't usually ship "destiny" type ships because it always feels too forced, too obvious, too easy. But Leyton are anything but that.

4) Which scene do you think most defines LP as a couple?
I was going to try to be different and choose a different scene from everyone else but that scene is it. I can think of a million other amazing scenes but none that define so perfectly that their love - everlasting.

5) Do you consider LP to be epic? Why, or why not?
No. They have an incredible story but I find very few couples epic - BtVS couples (especially Spuffy but because of circumstances on the show, basically all the pairings, even the ones I'm not crazy about, were forced to go through so much together) and Logan/Veronica. That's it.

6) Do you ship, or like both sides of the triangle? (Both Leyton, and Brucas?)
No. I don't hate Brucas mostly because I never saw them as a lasting relationship. I knew it would be Leyton in the end, just like that defining scene showed us!

That's where their hearts truly lied. I think Lucas loved Brooke, Peyton loved Jake.. but never the same way that they loved each other.

"Lucas and Peyton aren't compatible!" kajsdfasdkfja I saw that they were winning a poll asking about the least compatible couple. It honestly blew my mind. People must really only see what they want to see because, from season 1, the show put so much effort into showing how similar Lucas/Peyton were (in interests and in personality) and how different Lucas/Brooke were. I know that opposites can be compatible in some cases but, to me, OTH pretty much shoved down on throats that Lucas and Brooke were not compatible for the long run and Lucas/Peyton were.

A couple of years and a half ago , One Tree Hill was still on its biggest glory & there were so many stuff going on around fanpop leading right away to becoming curious about it.So , somehow like that, also with my best friend Ada obsessing all over it , I started watching it.I downloaded every season on pc & spent a great deal of months until 4am watching 6 or 7 episodes one after another. I had become a Leyton fan , from the very first episode. They were fate & it was obvious to me.

I don`t think we can compare Leyton with Brucas.
I like Brucas a lot! For a teenage love relationship they`re great , they have fun , they have their fights , their cute moments , but it just goes that far. I dislike the whole triangle thing.Peyton was hurting, Lucas was LUCAS, Brooke thought she was living a love of fate & it was just so frustrating.

I believe that the word love might be losing its meaning or fading because most people do not settle with one person for their whole life, so they use it a lot. Lucas loved Brooke , because she cared for her, he wanted to be with her. Lucas LOVED Peyton because his love for her was awakening his soul.Making him reach for more.It was the best love.The one that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. I think most scenes in season 4 are great scenes for LP as a couple. They have so many great scenes like the coockie fight and the kiss in the classroom.

Yes, they truly are an epic coulple. Just think of how much they have been through together and how Lucas always saves Peyton. LP is epic!

No, not really, I like some Brucas moments, but none of them are as greart as the Leyton moments. I think they were cute in season 1, but they were just an ordinary High School couple. I don't think they have the same connection as LP have. Allready in season 1 it was clear to me that Leyton was far better than brucas, inspite of LP cheating on Brooke.

Because Lucas has always cared for Peyton, and always saved her. They simply belong together because they can't stay away from each other for a long time.

Sort of.... In season 1 I can understand why BL'ers hated LP, I didn't like the way they cheated on Brooke, either (but don't get me wrong, I loved their hot/emotional scenes). But on the other side I really think some (especially BLers) goes too far with their hate against LP, just because Leyton were in the endgame in stead of Brucas. Lucas chose Peyton instead of Brooke and hat's how it is.

"I dont know why mark tries to make Leyton look like this epic couple when they didn't have any real love scenes"
I found it on the Brucas spot and they are tptaqlly wrong! First of all, Mark don't TRY to make them epic, Leyton ARE EPIC. Second, they have several great love scenes, which are much better than Brucas'. Like the motel scene (much more passion/feelings than Brucas ever showed) and their kiss 4x11.

Because of their connection. During their first conversation Lucas told Peyton more about Dan/Nathan than he had every told anybody, even more than he had told Karen. Only a couple of episodes later Peyton opened up to him about her mother's death, something that she hadn't even told Nathan about after years of dating him. <3333

Fluffy and angsty. Both extremes. Fluffy because I loved finally seeing them happy together, and angsty because nobody does angst like them.
