Well in my opinion, he isn't talking about sex. I think he is talking about the "human nature" of making pag-ibig to a girl he is in pag-ibig with. There is a big difference between having sex and making pag-ibig and he thinks the same way (it appears). So when he says that, I he means the sweet sounds of making love
