Hi, Mommy.

I'm your baby. You don't know me yet, I'm only a few weeks old. You're going to find out about me soon, though, I promise. Let me tell you some things about me. My name is John, and I've got beautiful brown eyes and black hair. Well, I don't have it yet, but I will when I'm born. I'm going to be your only child, and you'll call me your one and only. I'm going to grow up without a daddy mostly, but we have each other. We'll help each other, and pag-ibig each other. I want to be a doctor when I grow up.

You found out about me today, Mommy! You were so excited, you couldn't wait to tell everyone....

Well, this is it! Tomorrow (October 24) is the araw that I leave on my mission. I will be learning Spanish, doing service, and sharing my beliefs with the people of Viña del Mar, Chile for the susunod two years. This also means that I will be focusing on the work, and because of that, no fanpop, TV, movies, music or contact with my family (besides letters/email) for a while. Yeah, ouch. I just want to quickly say thank you to fanpop for some good times and I hope it's thiriving when I get back so I can jump right back in. Time for me to go finish packing. Fanpop rocks!

My mom is my church teacher, and she gives us homework! Some people complain, but most of us got used to it sa pamamagitan ng now. I think the easiest ones are when we have to memorize artikulo of Faith or scriptures. Some people struggle, but shouldn't they have done this when they were 12 and younger? I think that the homework actually helps those that don't pay attention to my mom's lesson. Some people may think it's good for her to be my teacher, but it isn't. I always have to make sure no one thinks I'm pagganap like the teacher's pet. Since my mom had a baby, we have a substitute, and she's so strict! Ugh! She treats us like we're in school! But, no we're at church! Just a couple of weeks. I think we can survive that. oh, and she seperates us from our friends! Even those that aren't talking!
