This is definitely one of the best pelikula I've ever seen. If you're not a tagahanga of old movies, IT DOESN'T MATTER! The pagganap of Ian McKellan, Who plays the villainous Chauvelin, and Anthony Andrews, who plays the foppish Sir Percival Blakeney, is outstanding, and Jane Seymour has madami than enough beauty to recommend her for the role of Marguerite St. Just, the beautiful French actress. The movie is set during the Reign of Terror, when the French Aristocracy are having their heads chopped off sa pamamagitan ng Robespierre's Republic. A mysterious man called the Scarlet Pimpernel snatches the people from the jaws of the Guillotine, while posing as the foppish fool Sir Percival Blakeney. When however, the King and reyna are beheaded, and the Dauphin, the heir to the trono is kidnapped, The Scarlet Pimpernel will have to sacrifice everything to save France from the iron fist of Robespierre. The film contains many classic lines and phrases, watch the clip in the url below and you will see what I mean!
