Many of you probably don't know who he is, but some of you might remember Sal from the pelikula he appeared in. He estola the screen from James Dean in 'Rebel Without a Cause', and dazzled brighter than diamonds in 'Who Killed Teddy Bear', and played an adorable chimpanzee genius in 'Escape from the Planet of the Apes'. If you've ever seen him, chances are, you never forgot him.
This guy was nominated for two Awards which he did not win. ROBBERY! He captivated audiences with his talent, good looks, and charm. Sal Mineo was the epitome of handsome and charisma. He had it all. He was everything. It was not surprising that every girl in the world wanted to petsa him; being the biggest bituin of the 1950's made him extremely popular. But as he aged, it became madami difficult for him to find work. Everybody wanted him as a teenager but almost nobody wanted him as an adult. Those people who ignored him were just plain stupid. He was a great actor, was gracious to fans, was kind, sweet, dreamy, and the most beautiful creature to ever draw a breath. He was even hotter as an adult than when he was a teenager. His amazing face and magnificent voice only became better as he matured. Whenever I watch him in a movie or TV ipakita I feel excited and relaxed at the same time. There was something soothing about him. He was a charmer who could really turn you on; the kind of person who makes you feel happy. Every little thing he did fills me with joy. Also, I really pag-ibig when he wore open shirts and showed off his chest! He was sooooo handsome! I wish God would give him back to us...but I suppose God wants to keep him. After all, Sal Mineo was the Lord's magnum Opus (in my humble opinion). I can only hope and pray that when I die, I'll finally be able to meet my paborito celebrity. I can't wait to give him a big hug and stare into those haunting eyes.
Over the years, I've had the good fortune of seeing many of his wonderful films. It gives me something to look pasulong to, knowing there is much madami of him to see. Sal Mineo brought warmth and charm and excitement to every movie and TV ipakita he appeared in. I pag-ibig him with all my puso and soul. He was truly a one-of-a-kind person and I don't think anyone in their right mind would disagree. The people who don't like him have got rocks in their heads. Sal needs to be loved and remembered. From the tuktok of his dark head to the tips of his adorable toes. RIP Sal Mineo!
